"I've got till 5!"...... Such a small moment but so effective in building Danielson as the heel of this match, we need more in ring psychology like that, today's product is sorely missing those little details.

It's absolutely amazing to see where these guys are today. What they have accomplished since. And the fact that these two men wrestled for the holy Grail the WWE Championship. This match was before both men had long hair and back when professional wrestling was actually appreciated. Not just the entertainment. These two guys were money back then and they're still money today.

While I agree with you about seeing where or how far these wrestlers have come, I can't agree with your assessment of the wwe championship being the "holy grail". Since the end of the attitude era, all of the wwe's programming, from the PPV's to the network 📺TV📺 shows has become more of a 🚽Toilet🚽🚽Bowl🚽 as compared to the Grail. After learning how and what Vince and Linda McMahon acted and what they allowed their employees to do? See Pat Patterson, I just can't be a fan of people like that.

The guys are talented no doubt, but WWEs viewership, live event attendance numbers, and overall fan-base continues to shrink and erode with these indy darlings headlining the WWE cards. This new WWE is obviously more of HHHs vision, but the problem is that this WWE product placates to the marks much more than it does the casual viewer, which is why they continue to lose market share and viewers, and I think they only took this approach with known indy wrestlers because WWE has done such a terrible job of building homegrown stars over the pat decade. AJ Styles is one of my favorite wrestlers of the past 20 years, and Bryan is immensely over as well, but these guys are the exception to the rule when it comes to smaller indy guys being super over or having any ability to draw in the WWE environment.

@EdsterIII Жыл бұрын
I agree 100%. RoH had the most amazing matches. Their feuds were always really well written and as you said their bookings were perfect! Back then the stars that they were featuring weren't big money established wrestlers. But looking back RoH seriously had a Hall of Fame roster many different times. Damn they should have easily been one of, if not the top wrestling company!

Several reasons why they didn’t: - Rob Feinstein’s controversy and him leaving. - Stars like Danielson, Punk, Styles, Joe, etc. leaving for the competition (Styles and Joe were with ROH before being pulled thanks to that). - Business and the Economy as a whole undergoing a recession in 2008.

Bryan has been working with the most elite specialists concerning concussion and CTE in the entire world. All tests by them have shown progress in his brain, even to the point where they all say his brain is better than it was before the last concussion. There has been more learned about CTE and concussions literally thru Bryan's hard work to want to get back into the ring. If he was to come back to WWE, it will be a very protected match. He will not die in the ring WHEN he comes back, I guarantee you 100%. (PS, if he isn't wrestling in WWE, when his contract expires you WILL see him wrestle again, probably for ROH).
