+a Merchant You go! Bryan has been one of my favorite Christian musicians, and a direct inspiration to my musical background, since I first heard SCB, in the late seventies! Strong Medicine was another great album, wish I could find it in CD format!

Bryan Duncan's Stand in My Place was one of those songs that is timeless for me. It's one of those contemporary jazz/soul/blues with the 80's style sax to boot. I remember my bus trip down the west coast US while listening to this song. Great song with a very simple message, affirming God's Mercy and Grace in my life.

Back in 1990 I heard this awesome song played on KLTY Dallas,Texas. A close friend of mine James P. Heitman who was a multi talented musician had passed away on February 25. I found the song both encouraging and uplifting.

yep grew up with this one too! Mr Duncan's talent is on par with most gospel greats. Able to put in music what the heart says. After him, I'd get lost in an Imperials album. Remember them?

Used to listen to this song on KLTY of Dallas-Fort Worth, when I was a kid and CCM was starting to really break through the strict ways of tradition. Now I own this song on MP3 and it's still as powerful as ever. :')

just think if no one had witnessed to Bryan about receiving Jesus into his life, we wouldn't have had this incredible voice for God. as believers we need to do our job so God can do his. that may sound backwards, but if you think about it , its not. we always want to pray for people and when God puts people in our lives, we say nothing to them about God. those people are the ones that others have been praying for. in fact if you have a hard time talking to someone about God, a good opening line would be " somebody must be praying for you, because God just touched me to talk to you"

This goes back a few: I saw Bryan performing with The Southern Comfort Band in an old Alpha Beta Grocery Store aka Calvary Chapel West Covina back in the early 80's. The church is now known as Calvary Chapel Golden Springs. Raul's, Bryan's and The Lords Voice remain the same after all these years...
