Some people took offence when she called Bryan.."The king of covers..." But he IS in my opinion..the greatest cover artist that ever lived, as this sensetive and beutiful rendition confirms. Aside from that he is also one of the greatest song writers and lyricist's in his own right. No one has equaled that status.

Brilliant interpretation....by the typically brilliant Ferry. This guy was ahead of his time from the very beginning....and they haven't caught up yet!

He talks about the poetry of Dylan...but Bryan is also a poet. Many of his lyrics are pure genius. I can see why it would be tough to follow, but I hope he finds his muse soon so we can all hear the new Roxy album!

What a great cover of a great song. God I love this man, he's got more style and class than any artist out there. Bryan we love you!

Ferry is brilliant at covers. He sings songs I would never listen to otherwise, and those I would he enhances and gives it another, but equally superb perception. A master craftsman of dual originality, and sublime recognition of others work - unique. By the way Julia Thornton is also an enigma.

He puts such emotion & feelings into his singing which lifts a song like no -one else can. And so self deprecating.......

What a great song !! By one of the greatest singer ever. Only Brian Ferry can sing someone's song as good if not better. I'd had Joe Cocker too. But Brian Ferry lives what he sings !! Hope he's gonna tour Canda soon, western Canada .

It could be misinterpreted as an insult if you were too proud & took yourself too seriously, but after listening to her say it several times, I think not. She says it with respect and Brian Ferry self-deprecating as ever smiles wryly and takes it in his stride...He is good at covers.

this dude's gonna have a major hit (major hits) in the u.s. yet.....as he modifys his style just a little bit and the listening public catches up to that style, this class, this class act. he and the "listening public" are evolving....

Yes. Came out only as a single in 1966, Blonde On Blonde period. The first Dylan Greatest Hits album (1967) was the only album with this song, once, although a later version of that album doesn't have the song on it anymore. It was the electric R&R Dylan, with the Hammond organ, like Like A Rolling Stone or Absolutely Sweet Marie

@sonsielass1 I agree. And in fact he rightly doesn't like the word 'covers'. He calls his 'covers' 'interpretations'. And that is what they are.

Oh wow ! That came out of left field -as has been said this is not too obviously flagged up! This is an absolutely beautiful rendition very very sensitively performed, P S further to some of the previous comments re accent - in the words of Galton and Simpson spoken by Patrick Cargill in Hancocks the Blood Donor sketch 'We can't all be Rob Roys !'

He's got a bit of a turkey neck at this point, but the left-side bulge is the fault of horrific lighting, which for some reason you get a lot of with British pop shows.
