@paolaasova12407 ай бұрын
We have most of the French and South Korean brands sold here, so there is no problem. If I can't find something that I like or I think will be helpful I order it from Amazon or other online retailers (like Notino, iHerb, Strawberrynet ot Makeup). btw I use mostly Mustela, Bioderma, Mixa, Neutrogena, Mizon and Beauty of Joseon products last couple of years (I have oily skin) and it is in great condition. In the summer I use mostly Cetaphil and Roc spf. There are some good Polish and Turkish brands too. The most important thing that I learned from Dr. Dray is to always read the ingredient list so I know what I'm buying. This is the game changer.

@@Mspla9 “Healthy” is debatable. While his internal markers show improvement, we can’t deny that his outward appearance doesn’t look as good as it did before he did this experiment, and I question his mental health because of how obsessive and extreme his lifestyle is. @fuzzycat36519 ай бұрын
I think people are too quick to conclude that his "pursuit of youth" is a selfish one. He has mentioned that he is interested in learning for the benefit of everyone. As for the stress component, it's highly subjective. Just because *you* would find his lifestyle stressful doesn't mean he does (remember, he doesn't have to worry about the time/money commitment like we do; he is a billionaire). As for him "forgetting to live": who is to say that his life is not as fulfilling, as he is clearly excited about the future of human health and feels like he plays a role in that.

Something is off about all this, but you’re right. I do appreciate that he makes his findings public, but I wish he was more specific in certain areas like if his supplements really work or not because some supplements have interactions, some aren’t as viable as they claim, and some brands don’t use good quality ingredients, so some stuff he does seems iffy.

I started investigating NR, NMN and NAD some months ago when I came across the work of Dr David Sinclair (does research into slowing ageing at Harvard). I thought, what the heck, got nothing to lose, so I found a good brand based on reviews and started taking a combo supplement that includes NMN and NAD with the NR. I take that many supplements that it can become difficult what is having what effect. It's not a miraculous cure for my predicament, which I've been in for 7 years, but I do think it's made a perceptible difference to my energy levels. So, I'll take whatever I can get! Vivace costs the same, and will do the EXACT same thing. it is RF Microneedling ..and will NOT leave the little spots on your face like tixel. You also need to be aware, that not one single provider will tell you that one treatment will be enough. NOPE they will definitely recomend 2 to 3 treatments about 5 to 6 week or so apart, to get the best result. Soooooo... $700 for one treatment x 3 . It does however produce pretty good results.

So how is it acceptable for dr injecting botox to insert the same syringe so many times or here in this video the same needles enter the skin over and over becoming more dull & damaged with each insertion? So I 100% agree regarding having solid clinical trial data, more than for efficacy, for safety, the latter being so important. HOWEVER, one thing to take into account is that clinical research is slow and it's not always easy to convince ethics committees and regulatory agencies to approve research when the health benefit is purely aesthetic or purely for longevity, it's much easier if it is something that cures/treats a condition. All this to say that some people risk it because waiting 10 or 15 years for better studies may not be a viable option. Some of these techniques are better for preventing ageing than remediate it, and if you are someone in their 50s, can you really afford to wait 15 years? You may want to act now at risk. It's a really difficult one because there are pros and cons of both options. I can say that I'm 40 and I try to wait for more solid data, particularly for safety, but there are some things I am already doing at risk because I want to try and prevent my body from ageing as much as I can. Others not so much, there may be more risks, etc. so i'll wait till I cannot wait anymore.

He’s on a quest to anti age every organ in his body, and according to the data he’s doing a magnificent job! After two years on this quest, I believe all of his organ systems are functioning in the 90% of 18 year olds with many functioning in the 90% of 10 year olds.

He looks older but has young features on him. Seems obsessive to others as I read some comments but everyone has different way of how they want to spend their time. At least he’s not out there killing Poole or something.

I am slightly bored with Brian Johnsons's quest for youth. Obsessive life style - which is fine, but also the costs of all of that are ridiculous/not relatable.

he def looks his age though

Well someone has to pay to see if all this stuff works and the average person may be able to do one or two but not waste money on things that don’t work. I’m happy to follow his journey because once he’s gone through it, I can just cliff notes it and see what I can afford 😂

If he wasn't overcoming previous sun damage many people would not see him as looking as uncanny valley looking young. Sun damage makes a difference in reduced skin quality even with what his slowed aging protocol helps achieve.

I saw his old pics, he looked better before all this. He had fat in his face and actually was more attractive

I’m all in for health, including skin health. But anything can become an obsession and taken too far.

He has hypothyroidism and he has a very good amount of hair on his head so whatever he is doing is working well. I know he takes viviscal but it alone doesn’t do much.

Could you do a deep dive on the new FDA mandate for all chemical sunscreen filters needing to be tested on animals by the 15th of February at the tune of $18,000,000 per filter or the products will be removed from the market

I’ll say it again, this guy is ridiculous. He is touting something that, like Dr Dray stated, is pre clinical and has limited data. To further add to that, most of the information in exosome topicals is industry based. I have personally looked into exosomes and the PRICE makes them unobtainable and/or unsustainable for most consumers. Exosomes are expensive. I’m starting to get the impression this guy likes letting people know that he is rich. This was my thought on his first video a while back about his anti aging regimes which included at least a $100k of in home laser and light based technologies. This video further solidifies this feeling.

I am not jealous about him having lots of money and we shouldn’t make people like him feel bad if they aren’t stealing from us like our politicians are.

Idk if you take what he says at face value his approach is very scientific. He test, gathers data, and reviews if it’s worth it. He does the things that Dr dray says works but also pushing typical boundaries and holding himself accountable if the non typical things work or don’t work. It’s kinda cool to have someone who just follows the data. She harps on pre clinical (I love dr dray) but everything that becomes clinical was once pre clinical. He’s got teams of doctors who browse academic literature and try things that show high probabilities of success.

It’s all for vanity - the “research’ and the justification of his everyday existence. He is doing so much at one time and changing the regimen so often, no one will learn anything from this.

We are only here for a short time . All those appointments time and money for what ? 😮 Spend time with your loved ones eat good food exercise and enjoy the ride . I’ve gone thru chemo and radiation. I won’t make another extra appointment ever . I like myself and I’ve learned to accept my imperfections. None of us will leave here looking like we haven’t aged a day. I don’t want to judge him too harshly I’m sure he’s a nice person. But it’s coming off as obsessive. He won’t leave this earth thinking about his wrinkles. And wishing he got one more weird treatment.

This guy is only 46? What? I thought he must be in his 60s or 70s because whatever he's doing to himself makes him appear to be a much older person trying to look young. At 46, he should not need all this BS. Take care of yourself, get sleep, wear sunscreen, drink water, don't drink or smoke, etc. or do it moderately. Wow!

It is fascinating how far science evolved with respect to skin rejuvenation. I appreciate his endeavour to advance skin vitality. He lives a stressful life trying to reverse aging not fully understanding that stress causes people to age massively. He looks good but is not younger than his age. If he gets more sleep, he will look better. 😢 A simple concept is unfathomable to him. If I see him, I just say, get some sleep and don't stress about anti-aging so much. 😢

He has a perfect sleep score and his sleep is number 1 priority. He just doesn’t look any younger yet. I agree with most people on that
