My husband died 8 years ago this month and it has been, well, a struggle. My Ex and I are still very close but not meant to be married-but for Him to finally validate my struggle with such a powerful song was “miraculous healing”. I totally empathize with your struggle. My life has been similar hardships faced. I had to flee my home in May with just the clothes in my back. There's a song that means a lot to me, I don't know if it mean anything to you, it's name is: "At the foot of the cross". It speaks of trading the ashes of broken dreams in for beauty, and wear forgiveness like a crown. May Jesus bless you as you walk this difficult path.

This song hit me hard…. Falling in love, ending up homeless, starving, no AC to keep cool, no heat to keep warm in winter, sleeping in the streets. Going through all of that with my ex just to end up being cursed at like a dog, called names, slapped, grabbed, yelled at. I wanted to end my life and tried but failed every time. I felt like a idiot that didn’t deserve anything more than the life I was living. I was tired of crying…tired of the fighting and just wanted to vanish. It didn’t feel real and sometimes hoped I was just having a nightmare. Yet I was living the nightmare every single day.

Beauty is a struggle for me. Father told me to take a litter to my chest of 2020. Dealing with high risk depression. Hit me hard when my father said I didnt matter. I blacked out with that litter to my chest. But when I did I realized there was people around me!!!. So I held that flame in my chest like a bottle. I got 3degree and second burns. The doctors said I had a choice to give up or fight for myself. So I was fighting for myself during Covid 19. Did my treatment on my own. And I am yet doing RECOVERY at home. Reason I didnt go. Is cause it wasnt my time. I forgot something when my family was trying to take apart who i am and that was one day a women one day a mother. One day a wife a grandmother. I forgot what I had?. And it was myself!. Still struggling but still fighting with my struggles. And reason that is?. Is cause I am a yet only human yet a Survivor. With in that choice of giving up on myself. In my second life I found my own family I am married and happy and I feel in love with a mexican man. I am not racist even thought I been also done wrong by men of Color. But everyone can do you wrong even you can do yourself wrong. But this year of 2022. I treat people how I would like to be treated. And that Being respected.
