Yeah i just said that justice will be the reason nobody will even remember Sumner walker in 3 years. Part of the fun of old classics is trying your hardest to hit them high notes with the singer, knowing damn well you ain't got it. What is there to remember about this shit today? I enjoyed this episode a lot. This was very informative from the story about Destiny's Child to the segment regarding producers from different regions. I feel like this type of information is what was missing from the culture. An outlet that delivers advice from people who have gained success in the music industry providing insight into how they did it. I learned a lot. Thank you.

A and R's use statistics based tracks rather actual music. It's cheap but takes the flavor of the song and composition of the finished product which is to move units but you sometimes lack the musicianship to just get product sold.

I despised Jagged Edge and Jermaine Dupri for a little bit. The reason is because me and my wife got married in June of 2000. We walked out to Let’s Get Married. Then two months later they dropped the damn remix to it. That remix would’ve set our reception off so damn big!!!! 😡😡😂😂

NYC created Disco, Hip Hop, Salsa(genre), Punk Rock, Proto House Music, Bebop, Doo wop, etc, New Orleans created Jazz, Detroit created Motown, DC and GoGo, Mississippi created the Blues, etc and Atlanta is the greatest music city because it's affordable to live? And gtfoh with that sample point you're trying to make. Most samples aint come from Atlanta so I don't know why you said that, Sampling was something later added to Hip Hop, and all types of records from different types of music was sampled in Hip Hop.
