Loved your video. You reminded me of myself on talking about The Wolfman. I have all four original same Neca Universal Monsters. I am 73 years old, but always a huge fan of these Monsters. This morning, I had to adjust the Wolfman and his head just fell off, which doesn't make me happy. I have the round stand under his right foot and I have to keep adjusting the figure to stand. Like you, I will put the stand under his left foot. Loved your video. When I was a young teenager, I had the Aurora models of The Mummy, Wolfman, Frankenstein, Dracula, Hunchback of Notre Dame and Godzilla. I also had the Lon Chaney Phantom of the Opera, and even Superman. Unfortunately, when I was a kid, I also had a new BB gun rifle and stupid me, I shot them all up. Luckily for me, in the 1980's, when my son was about 12 years old, I found and bought the same Aurora models of Frankenstein, Wolfman and the Mummy, which I still have today. At the moment, it's just a few days away from Halloween and as every year, I hauled out my DVD collection of the Universal Monsters movies and started watching last night with The 1941 The Wolfman. Tonight, it will be the 1931 Frankenstein, followed by the 1931 Dracula. Can you tell, I am still a fan? 😊 Don from Milwaukee Wi

Nice video, decent camera work. I’m lucky to have the full set of these, a couple of black & white ones too. Just recently got Nosferatu, Waiting for the London after Midnight figure to arrive. Neca have done a superb job of these. I hear they also releasing a Christopher Lee Dracula. Let’s hope they follow that up with a Peter Cushing Van Helsing. 👌

Great video! I had those Remco six inch figures with the grab feature. It was unfortunate; however, they started falling apart on me rather easily. It could have been from overplaying them, but it’s great to have the new Neca collection.

I’m a fan of all 30 of the Universal Classic Monster films, as Universal now releases together in the 30 Film Complete DVD/Blu-ray collection. It’s nice to see someone who appreciates the films of the 40s too, because many KZbinrs disrespect those films. I think they are all awesome.

Great review! I'm just getting into these terrific figures, myself! Having also been a 'monster kid' from way back, I also really appreciate this line. Along with more Universal monsters, I'd really love a line of fifties monsters. Now that'd be really cool! (I'd also love a few more from the silent era. The Golem, especially, springs to mind.)
@richa797020 күн бұрын
Mr. Hyde 1913 from IMP company name before name change to Universal Studios yeah we need to pay respect to silent legend! Hunchback of Notredame 1923 then all 30’s 40’s 50’s 60’s Universal Monsters would be great new universal monster would be great starting in the late 70’s cartoons would be good monster force the mummy the animated series!!! That would be a dream I would own every piece I hope they make a haunted castle Draculas so you can display figures inside made entirely of plastic no stickers please!!! No thank you so they can peel?!!!

Totally agree w the request for Kharis. Neca would make an incredible version. Both current mummy releases are stellar (carded Glow and boxed versions). Also looking forward to the Bride of Frankenstein version of Frank w chair supposedly coming in July this year.

I thought that was just other toy collection video that I randomly clicked on... Bryan Baugh?...Bryan Baugh?! Holy shit dude. Been a fan of yours since like 2010. You did the cover art for a record album taht was advertised in HorrorHound magazine. A girls slumber party scene being attacked by gooey zombies. I cant remember the band name but I never forgot that art! Your art is fantastic!! Anyways, I love these NECA figures. I have the color versions and I am only missing The Bride of of Frankenstein to complete the set. I dont have the Ultimate version but I have Tooney Terrors version of Nosferatu, still NECA brand

Hey there!! Yes, I did an illustration called "Zombie Slumber Party" for the punk band Calabrese back in the early 2000s. So glad to have you back! I hope you will subscribe to my channel! Check out my monster comic book series Wulf and Batsy. You can find videos to see the art and learn more about it on my channel. Thanks for reaching out and the great comments!!

its difficult finding them in Target 🎯 online shopping is always my last resort
@bryanbaughart76775 күн бұрын
@@Superb_0wl I have had good luck finding them in Target but it’s always unpredictable which ones will appear on the shelves. So I have made a point of ordering the “must-haves” online to make sure I get em. Entertainment Earth, Big Bad Toy Store are safe & reliable. And you can usually trust any eBay seller with a 100% customer rating. Ebay has become a lot safer over the years. No seller wants a bad score so most of em take customer service more seriously than some of the big online sellers like Amazon.

These are probably the best versions of the monsters ever made.I just need the wolf man to finish my set.I do hope they happen to do one of Dr.Frankenstein as I don't think anyone has ever made a figure of him at all.seems like a great omission.
@bryanbaughart76776 ай бұрын
Yes I agree. The Universal Horror films of the 1930s & 40s includes a long list of supporting human characters that are beloved by hardcore fans of these movies but unknown to the general public. Us fans would love a figure of Colin Clive as Dr.Frankenstein, Ernest Thesinger as Dr.Pretorious, Maria Ouspenskya as Maleva the Gypsy Woman, Edward Van Sloan as Van Helsing, ANY of Dwight Frye’s characters… the list goes on and on. Unfortunately once they get past the main lineup of famous monster characters, most Universal Monsters toylines tend to stall out and quietly end. I’m sure there’s not much faith among toy companies that figures of those characters would sell well enough to make them worth producing. The best we can hope for is figures of the “less famous” monster characters from the less popular films.
@bryanbaughart76776 ай бұрын
I still need The Invisible Man, The Bride of Frankenstein, and the Phantom of the Opera to complete my collection of the first wave of figures. Pre-Orders for the London After Midnight Vampire feels like the start of a second wave. I’m curious to see where this toyline continues from there.
@bryanbaughart76776 ай бұрын
Oh yes one more thing I’d like to add in response to your comment. Something I’ve always wished for, that nobody has ever done, would be a line of figures of the damsels/ scream queens who were paired with each monster in the old classic films. Again, they would probably only sell to the most hardcore fans. But who could resist a figure of Julia Adams in her white swimsuit to drape across the arms of your Creature figure? Or any of the fetching damsels from the Universal Mummy movies? Fay Wray in her jungle-damaged attire? Or Luna the bat winged vampire girl from Mark of the Vampire. I’d buy them all.
