This is a dream of a dance, by fantastic rumba dancers. A dream couple, and a dream rumba. Video reached me 2020. I like her dress, I like their chemistry, their musicality, their choreography, and their floor presence. And I like Eva Cassidy´s warm lovely singing. And I like the song "Imagine" by John Lennon.

For the negative comments here, it shows up your lack of knowledge, your ability to not appreciate quality technique and expression and really a statement of some kind of personal problem. They have proven themselves time and time and time again. Possibly the greatest. Certainly one of the top few ever. Show some respect

WOW, some of the comments are fascinating. A SHOW dance, NOT a competition, as for entertainment - a showcase of beauty and talent. Chiffon simply shows off arm styling and movement. This is one of the best partnerships to ever grace the floor. However, dancing is an art, therefore, to each his or her own, certainly. Routine, like any piece of art, is a combo of music choice, partnership, choreography costuming, delivery, expression. This was a beautiful picture.

I must admit that when it comes to cha cha, Bryan and Carmen are perhaps some of the best out there. I don't know about the competitions, since those are based on technique rather than flavor and vividness, but their showcases are some of the best. If it's technique only (such as in competitions), then perhaps you can make it with one partner carrying the other, but for showcases and performances, you BOTH gotta have chemistry, and vividness. Technique alone won't win the audience.

I usually watch Bryan much in their showcase but this time for some reason I was attracted by Carmen, especially her dress work. From 3:25, you can see she started to wrap the cloth with her left arm while dancing Rumba and then ended up the pose at 3:28. Her legs were hidden by the cloth initially at 3:25 so definitely she intentionally wrapped the cloth to show her legs at 3:28. Bryan’s outfit is normal so he can dance as usual but I guess Carmen had to think about additional dress works specific to that dress. You can also find other her dress works in the video. I respect her tremendous efforts.

@Vampirfreakgirl13: Carmen's technique is just okay, you must not know dancing. Yes, Bryan and Carmen were Blackpool champions but of more importance they were also unbeaten World Professional Latin Ballroom Champions for nine straight years from 1999 to 2007. They did not become unbeaten world champions with one partner being just okay. It took two brilliant dancers.

"her technique is okay" how laughable! Please post a video of you. Carmen was a brilliant dancer with Alan Tornsberg and was a Blackpool champion for 10 years with Bryan. You do not win Blackpool with one partner carrying the other.

I never watch him. Just her. The way she fills ever moment here, the sheer volume of expression and movement with music that is so slow, is a Masterclass in how it is done. I lost it when she did her first back basic. Rest is history. The Goat for me as a female. Class, sophistication, feminity. ❤

They are the best DANCERS! Who needs technics if no dance? Robots have the ideal technics. Who needs robot's dancing? Who knows what is a "perfect connections"? Somebody means it's a pull out hands from joints. May be. But we speak about dance - not a wrestling. If you need to dance - just throw out any garbage from the head and DANCE! Like Bryan and Karmen.

Let's see, music choice: How can John Lennon's Imagine possibly resemble a rumba,it is odd even for a ballroom rumba; partnership: they look like they are posing in front of the mirror, man's frozen smile is really creepy (expression) and woman's face shows no emotion at all. There is no sensuality or allure at all; costuming: correct; delivery: -15°C !!!
