As a broke south Florida golfer, I've grown accustomed to wind and rain. Basically the cheapest rates are summer off season afternoons, which coincidentally is when the tropical storms hit. Nothing like sheltering in a cart for a violent 30-45 min, and then resuming the hole in 100° sunshine.

On my old driver I was fitted for a Mav with a 90g shaft and extra stiff. This year I was fitted for a paradym (still use my Mav to get after it) and I’m using a 50g shaft reg flex! Like it’s crazy how each driver performs differently with each shaft. I hit further and more consistent now with the 50 reg shaft lol

Back in the 90's when Dawson's dad played the Florida Mini's he did some teaching at a driving range I operated. Caddied several US Open Qualifiers for him. Watching the Quad numbers, I think Dawson's dad could out drive both of them and that was with 1st generation metal drivers and balata golf balls. Daw's grandfather could move the ball also, guess it runs in the family.
