I love how if you go back and watch the autopsy scene after the end of chapter reveal, you notice that Crane is getting more and more uncomfortable as time goes on. Like his reaction to Lily being a troll (he probably didn't know she was one) and him interjecting "Well another troll, probably!" when Bigby asked who she might have been seeing.

Yeah, they really did a great job of adding subtext to the way he conducts himself that you can pick up on a second viewing. You can almost see him sweating when Bigby and Snow go poking where he doesn't want them to

This is actually my first stream, but I noticed the weird fascination he had with Snow right after she "died." Like suddenly, he's all concerned and how when they moved away from the body for a while, Crane was still looking at the body and it turned back to her Troll form...and he even wanted her to stay. Shit. Imagine if a player let her stay!

Yeah I agree. I think Telltale’s Batman was amazing. I don’t like their Alfred tho, I’ll say why *Spoilers for Batman Telltale below (basically both seasons but mainly end of 2)* *2nd spoiler warning, just for more space so people don’t accidentally see it, they have to scroll* I personally didn’t like this Alfred whatsoever. He’s a coward. I don’t feel like Alfred would everr leave Bruce like that. Bruce is basically his son, and he’s just gonna leave him to be Batman alone? With all the physical and emotional trauma Batman deals with every second of the job? Whether he eas right about Bruce giving up the Batman’ or not, it’s fucked up to just up and leave Bruce. I feel like maybe he’d find a way to force Bruce out of Batman, maybe leaning on Selena or something like that. Don’t forget, Alfred is all Bruce has. Alfred knows this. If you were Alfred, would you really leave Bruce Wayne, a kid who lost his parents tragically to crime, who you literally raised yourself, who is unconfusingly obsessed with fighting crime and injustice, to suffer alone? No shit he doesn’t want to end his crusade on crime, he is forever haunted by what happened to his parents. That kind of emotion/motivation doesn’t go away just because Alfred snaps his fingers and demands it. Alfred just ditches him, to what knows will probably kill Bruce without him, like a coward.

*spoilers* It's crazy how only by the second episode they subtly reveal the final twist. The girls that work there are always using glamours. The first girl you meet was one of them, but you don't really think about that since that reveal was in episode 2. So for the longest time you think the person you were talking to was Faith, and that she died that night. But it was really the little mermaid you met that first night and the girl that died was the real faith. It all makes sense. I fucking love this game.

A big factor in how you perceive Bigby depends on you holding the controller and being forced into those desperate split second decisions. It's one thing to call Bigby out when you're a passive audinece member, but a whole other situation when you're the one staring down a gun barrel while a timer ticks down. When you play the game with the patience/mercy of a saint and make choices to give others the benefit of the doubt only for them to turn around and immediately obstruct your investigation as hard as possible by lying to your face and pick fights, it's hard not to let it get personal. This is also a typical Noir setting, every single character is contemptible in some way, even the protagonist.
