Surviving a South African Bus Adventure: From TERRIFYING Layovers to beautiful scenery!

Many people have asked about the safety of taking a bus in South Africa. To investigate, we decided to embark on a 1500-kilometer journey with Intercape. During the trip, we made several stops to rest and purchase snacks and provisions, which felt completely secure. However, our arrival in Bloemfontein in the dark was daunting, and we had a 3-hour layover that made us feel very uneasy. We filmed very little during this time due to concerns about potential theft. The following leg of the journey lasted 9 hours without a stop. Although I am glad we had the experience, I am uncertain if I would do it again.

That was a long trip, quite an experience.. The Cape scenery is great but wow,, I am glad you did the trip for me to see. I will get the flight. That sleepliner was good though. More leg room than economy on a flight.
