Hans is just a nickname I use for German men, because I feel that Fritz is a bit insulting, and Gunther sounds too rigid. 😅 I'm glad American music is still appreciated in Germany! I was born in the 80's, and saw how popular American music was on the West side of the Wall. I've been a huge Skorpions fan, and thought it was amazing that they didn't speak English, yet managed to write such awesome songs as Winds of Change. When all else fails, music truly does bring us together.

This song was played at a funeral of a person I cared for dearly. It lifted peoples spirits when we didn't think anything could. It was great and he would have loved it.. the best part is his brother did a burn out on the motorcycle after when we were leaving for the burial site. I know Patrick would have loved it all and I wish he could have seen it for himself. Bad ass ❤ bittersweet memory.
