Wow!! What stunning scenery you and your boys experienced in Bryce Canyon. I enjoyed every moment of this amazing video you uploaded. I had to laugh when Joey missed Sam with a snowball. 😅 How on earth did Sam know when he ducked down suddenly?? Lol. And what about all those hoodoos!!! So many! As always, keep safe when hiking on snow and ice. Lucky you were wearing those snow shoes!! Awesome video!! 😃👍
@ourwildadventure6 күн бұрын
Yeah, it wasn’t really funny…just a coincidence that Sam bent over to make a snowball and that’s when Joey went for it. Bryce is amazing, and even more so in the snow.

For someone who has never been in snow before I didn't know it crunched so much when you walk on it. LOL

Did you discover the reason that trail is name Queen's Garden? There is a famous portrait of Queen Victoria in her later years, seated and quite heavy. It isn't hard to find although many aren't full-length, which you need to find to see the resemblance to a specific rock feature on the trail, pictures of which you can also find online if you look for them. I was familiar with the portrait, so I was able to recognize the feature (there's a sign that points it out on the trail). You said it's an easy trail, and it was when I hiked it many years ago in good shape. The last time I hiked it, not in the best of shape, the altitude kick my butt on the hike back up to the rim of the park!
@ourwildadventure6 күн бұрын
Wow! No, we never figured it out and never actually looked it up. Thanks for that…I had no idea it was named after her.

Oh yes, it wasn’t that cold…but the snowstorm the night before scared folks off the Queen’s Garden trail. I’ll take that!
