What a game. I said previously the panthers could keep it close (in the first half) they totally out performed my expectations and seriously could have won…due to Bryce! Not in spite of Bryce!

I was one of the Bryce and canales haters and naysayers….honestly I am so happy I was wrong, if this is the product we get Dan Morgan and David Tepper deserve two times the respect they deserve

I think tep is letting the football guys do their things as I said, Canales being young and new at the position looks a little naive when he talks but at least he’s passionate and persistent with what he wants and it’s slowing coming to fruition. He’s looking like a genius bench f Bryce

I have been very out spoken about Bryce needing to go. However, after the past 3 weeks I am now open to seeing what the guy can do with the rest of the year. Benching him was clearly a great idea because it really cleared his head and he has shown so much improvement since restarting! The 2 back to back wins were great, but I wasn't 100% sold yet because those were wins over very weak teams. Today though was a very different story! Today was what I was waiting to see from Bryce and he did not disapoint! He held it down against the fricken Chefs and almost beat them!! The Chefs had nothing to be proud about today because they almost got bet by the Panthers, but Bryce and the Panthers absolutely have something to be proud of because they almost beat the Chefs! This was not a loss to be upset about!

As long as we have a top tier offensive line, Bryce has proved that he could possibly be a franchise quarterback and the reward for letting QBs develop is starting to show. Today was a total win in my opinion. It was almost a literal win. What a moral victory! No Coker, no run game and no JT Sanders either, after he got hurt. I was honestly done with Bryce Young. But the last 3 weeks have proven that Bryce Young might be a NFL QB. Time to load up on defense through the draft
@DCIphanatic2 ай бұрын
This is what I was worried about, Panthers fans losing for so long that they no longer recognize mediocrity vs good play. Bryce had a decent game with a 92.9 rating (his highest of the season) but his stats this game were game manager stats, not number 1 overall pick stats, not trade up for generational talent stats. Since I know a lot of Panthers fans will be emotional about this and tell me I dont know ball, let me remind you that Daniel Jones was just CUT from his team for stats that were better than what we're calling a great game for Bryce. Daniel had four games this season above 100 rating with 2TD and no turnovers with a rating on the season above 70. Let's put this into perspective now, Bryce has about a 30 rating on the season, more turnovers than touchdowns, and his best game was 1TD game that he game managed. We should be moving on from Bryce sooner rather than later, don't be tricked by single games, and dont get so used to seeing us lose that you think a flash in the pan is worth anything. We will end up spending half a decade experimenting with Bryce before we figure out what smart talent evaluators knew in his rookie season
@rukus95852 ай бұрын
Man... KC's strategy was simple... sellout against run to shut it down and disrupt Bryce with the blitz. They got one out of two. Bryce was I believe 11 of 13 against the blitz. Impressive. Also as a side note, I don't see Canalas as naive or arrogant because he didn't choose Bryce or others but already had a vision and philosophy that got him the job to start with. He's just being disciplined in sticking with his methods and approach.
@pantherspost2 ай бұрын
Exactly! He could be seen as naive to what he wants to achieve and how to achieve it, and benching the 1st overall pick to some was “foolish” but the man might know what he’s doing! Eh what time would a live work for you?
@joeyjosephson55242 ай бұрын
I still don't entirely trust him, but I'm cautiously optimistic. I think I'd rather see them bring in Howell to battle it out in the off-season over Jones

We lost because we only gave Chuba 2 carries in the first half, allowing Maholmes too many opportunities. Thats it plan and simple! 2nd half we ran chuba, we score more points and they scored less and had less opportunities to try

Bryce Young had a good game today but I'm still not sold. He has to do this consistently, not just one game. If he goes out and lays a dud against Tampa Bay, then all the chatter needs to pipe down fr.
@amphilochusofmallus50702 ай бұрын
Sure but this is the longest streak of consistency he's shown so far. Dude has had 3 games of solid progress week after week. Maybe show some pride in his progress, and quit acting like you expect him to fail. And if that's just how you pull for the team, maybe just keep quiet, because no one wants to hear that
@pantherspost2 ай бұрын
I’d say the fact that he hasn’t made game breaking mistakes and has actually driven the ball is a sign of confidence. This was also a really good defense

Same here. Prior to picking up Hopkins, Chiefs weren't necessarily a good team despite being undefeated with crazy help from the refs. Browns beat the Ravens and the Steelers. Doesn't mean Winston is worth $250mil. I'm just hoping Carolina doesn't do with Bryce what NYG did with Jones or Jax with Trevor. Pay them way too soon based on 9 wins in a bad division then regress from there
