Bryn Mawr College - Summer 2023 Old Library Façade Changes

On July 18, 2023, the inscription of M. Carey Thomas' name was removed from Old Library. Over the course of three weeks, workers carefully removed the stones, which were inscribed in 1935. Removal of the inscription reinstates Old Library as it was originally constructed in 1907. The stones will be stewarded by Bryn Mawr College's Special Collections department as part of the College's historical collections.
