This is timeless. It drove me crazy when they said Brynn had no emotion on Dance Moms - she clearly does - even the solo she did at age 9 shows her emotion. She was so bullied on that show it broke my heart especially when they called her just a leg. She is an amazing dancer and deserved better.

I think Brynn emotes more through her body as we can clearly see on her solos that were off dance moms at her old studio. On the show, Abby challenged her to perform, and tell a story with her face and the choreography was really direct and story related, similar to the stuff that Maddie excels at. And in that setting and choreography, she did not have the strongest emotional execution, and that’s exactly why Abby did that to her, to set her up for sale against Maddie..Makes me furious. Meanwhile Maddie could never ever perform this even on her best day. Same way that Brynn wouldn’t be the best performing on Broadway and playing a character. Maddie really is the best at character pieces and storytelling… and Brynn is pure fluidity and emotion. They each have a strength, and Abby never played to Brynn’s.

this is perfection. her technique, control, flexibility were flawless. she told a story with her body and i felt something. i cried, because her emotions were so amazing. she was so graceful and i have no words to describe this, just flawless. she has something special, something nobody has. she's so incredibly talented and this piece was gorgeous, she's so stunning and lovely. i love her so much, she's pure perfection. i wish she got way more recognition because she's so pretty, amazing and kind. ❤

This dance is so pure and angelic. For some reason, though, this specific day, I did not think she did as well as she did when she performed it at the Las Vegas dance awards. Something was so free about her expression and her face that day. I think here she had more control, but I actually like it better without. She was really all over the stage in Las Vegas and it really helped to tell the story. It looked like the first time and last time she was ever going to perform that piece, I feel like maybe during this performance she had already done it a few times, so it was a different take, not as free as her last one. But that’s just my opinion. This one to me is more subdued and controlled and her Las Vegas one was really free and emotional.

And from watching this from a year ago it shows how much her confidence has been knocked from joining ALDC. I don't think ALDC is good for Brynn. Her performance and acting abilities are dramatically better here than from current episodes on the show

watching this in 2019 is amazing, maddie is an incredible dancer she is known for lyrical and so is brynn so their usually compared. if gianna and abby gave her this type of choreography she’d hands down tie with maddie maddie can do lyrical, comtemporary, contemporary jazz and her hippop is great brynn can do lyrical, contemporary jazz, hippop, jazz and contemporary. brynn couldn’t be the next maddie becasuse she is already brynn.

I’ve been looking for this comment! I guess that is where dance becomes subjective because some people find that this is her best one, but absolutely not for me. This was beautiful still, but this was much more subdued and controlled, versus the freedom that she had at the Las Vegas dance awards. It looks like that Las Vegas performance might’ve been her very first time ever doing the solo in front of a crowd because she had a sense of freedom and she was all over the stage and did not hold back. She was living that dance I feel like this was a more controlled technical take of the same dance. I didn’t get the same emotion from it.

I wonder how this performance, which, based on the dates, is the very first performance of this solo that she ever did, I wonder how the Las Vegas dance awards performance still remains the best, most free performance that she gave of this solo? Usually you would think that it’s the very first time she performs a solo that it would be so beautiful and free. I like this version but it felt a lot more controlled and subdued versus the freedom that she had at Las Vegas. It seems like Las Vegas was actually the second time she performed. This one doesn’t move me the same way.

I think Brynn has a beautiful technique, actually a hundred times better than Maddie's technique.
