I just started collecting. My wife has tasked me with selling her late fathers Silver age collection. I wish I came across these videos sooner. I have already slabbed and sold a few. Right now I have so many keys to get graded. I have a Xmen 1 in a 2.0 cgc currently to sell. Now I want to start my own collection! Thanks for the videos, very helpful.

This is a terrific overview of market forces and how and when to buy (which will inform how you sell). I'm a realtor in Minneapolis, and everything Bry said also applies to real estate - or any *commodity* on an open market. 👏👏👏 subscribed!

Doing your DD means so much. When I first starting collecting, as a kid, I bought every book I could if it just was a #1 issue, of anything lol! Yeah, it paid off on a few books, but the vast majority it did not. If I had the internet back then, it would have been different. But to a new comic collector at a very young age with no prior experience every #1 you see must be the first appearance hahaha!

Juicy would be discussing raw books. What a nightmare that is. Another banger. Me, for my personal interests, I love books I can afford (as cheap as possible) that have great eye appeal. I love comics but my economics aren't durable enough for high-dollar collecting.
