Bryson’s First Time Racing at Winder Barrow Speedway

Bryson's First Time Racing at Winder Barrow Speedway was fun! We unloaded the car and made adjustments for hot laps. After hot laps we made a few more adjustments for qualifying. Bryson qualified 4th out of 14 for his First Time at this track. We made a gear change and some other adjustments before the main. We started the main in 4th dropped to 5th ran 8-10 laps before Bryson spun out in 1-2. We restarted last, passed a car before someone spun out in front of Bryson and we had no where to go. Overall it was good racing at Winder Barrow Speedway. Bryson learned a lot and we think he did pretty good for his First Time Racing at Winder Barrow Speedway.

@@Hunkerdown_101 as Winder resident and a family member of the Canups, the old saying was we went to the fight and a race broke out. I don't know how many times people have been arrested and transported in ambulances due to the fights. I worked for the fire department here as a FF/EMT and we were trying to extricate a driver and this drunk nurse kept getting in our way, the deputies and track officials kept trying to pull her away, finally we had enough and she found the handle to the stomach of the halligan tool. She lost her job at the ER also for acting like this.

Track reminded me of my home track back in the day. Everyone ran around the very bottom. Old timers would tell me you have to pass them where you find them. A lot easier said than done in a bullring. So what usually happened was guys would get rooted out of the way. Spent all week replacing bumpers and nose pieces. It just takes seat time I know you’re probably tired of hearing that but it’s true. One night it will just click. A lot more fun after that. You all take care and stay safe.

Winder barrow speedway is my home track. I was told that if you can learn and run on this track. You can definitely run any other track no problem. I started out at winder barrow speedway Good luck. Will be rooting for y’all

Winder as never changed..... we raced there over 40 yrs ago... hard to pass and a lot of work to the car afterwards.... but is the PIG farm still there????

7:40 Safely glasses when putting fuel in please !!! You only have one pair of eyes. Also gloves on. And rags on the deck for when you spill the fuel. Also fire extinguisher.

Omg when i seen winder i was like ohh no that track tears up a lot of body panels but he did really good for 1st time there. That is a beat bang track just to tight of racing there on body parts. Lol he was having some fun tho. Good job kid just a tough little track.

Shout out to the tire grinder... get a nail disc too !! ( Aka tack disc.) We never have enough time to grind the tires, and he is really moving fast here !! Is someone sipping your tires ?

Try running the same size rear tire and add a quarter inch wheel spacer to get your stagger

Night started out good. Looked good in hot laps and qualifying. In the feature, just a little to hot into turn 1. It happens, you got it going again. You probably learned a lot that night. Good 👍 Luck with your next race.✌️

Yes we all agree. He is so worried about messing up his equipment (or someone else’s equipment) and we are glad he is respectful in that way. I think the more comfortable he gets running toward the front he will get better and more aggressive in that way.

4th out of 14 that's really good but! I believe you're still a Rooky you probably know to tighten lugs before setting it on the ground and I believe you're learning fast, just think someday you'll be a Pro!! 🤔🏁🇺🇲ML33MI.

That was a tough one Bryson,but if you go back and take a look at your line on that first spin you'll see exactly what happened. The second one wasn't anything you could do about it,you just got collected. That's the breaks when you're running back there though. All in all you're figuring it out,especially qualifying 4th at a track you haven't been at before. Hang in there man you'll get one soon.👍
