Rebuilding a B50 myself at the moment, I must say your's is a very special and very good looking bike. Like the colors! Looks like an open pipe, but the sound seems actually deeper and quiter as the original lozenge silencer the B50 came with.

It is discretely baffled to give the look of an open pipe! It wasn’t horrific but certainly quite brash before. No way i could have motovlogged on it before. Thanks for your kind words!

Great job on the bike. What magazine is your Dad‘s bike in, year and month also I would like to look for it. How is the vibration on your machine? I have a B50 1971 SS that came with CCM badges on the tank and it is a bit tricked out. Mine vibrates like crazy. It hurts my teeth I’m thinking a thicker seat might help. That’s great to hear thank you so much. The feature was in the May 1978 edition of BIKE magazine (uk). Mine is really pretty good for vibes. I’d hazard to guess the balance factor on your crank is as per BSA specs. PES is a brilliant company who actually asked my expected cruise speed/style of riding to set the balance factor to tailor the characteristics.

Its the boyer blue box digital ignition kit, has to be fitted with there digital specific coil too. Has made a world of difference... the low speed advance is bang on for kicking too!
