Another good ride out. I remember going on the back of a Gold Star, about 1958/59!! Great fun.

Subbed simply because of the MZ of which i had 2 back in the day. One very much like yours which I took all over the UK in all weathers and another later, disc braked one which I remember taking on a touring holiday to Norfolk . I also like those BSA panniers.

That was a really nice video. l took a Goldstar out for a test ride last week, certainly put a smile on my face but it had a bit of an on off throttle at low revs which put me off a bit

Nice bike. Some go on about the radiator as though there's never been one on a bike before😂 I'm hoping they bring the 650 scrambler out soon. Enjoy your ride.

rare to see an mz in regular use have you done any work on it ?
@1A2Blueboy Жыл бұрын
I fully restored it a year ago. All my own work. It was a non runner, complete but in a mess. The engine is virtually untouched. But I had to replace all the electrics including an electronic ignition system and got a Mikuni carb conversion. It’s transformed the bike and I have now done 2000 miles on it with no issues. I absolutely love it.

Looked at one closely the other day. Terrible welding on the frame. Dummy panels on the engine and mock air cleaner covers. And that radiator. Interceptor is far better quality. And cheaper. I think BSA should produce something based on an A65.

Replica motorbike, like a fake Rolex. Wouldn't be interested unless it was super cheap, which it isn't. It's a "something" bike with BSA slapped on it to sell it. I'm OK with that, but it's no more a BSA than a Royal Alloy is a Lambretta. I have a dealer 10 mins from my house, l was utterly underwhelmed, "BSA" slapped on it magic to some.

Have to agree with you, but most bikes these days are made from cheap Indian and Chinese parts ant that includes Triumph and a lot of Japanese bikes including some Hondas as well, so nobody really knows what they are getting. Better to buy older jap bikes I think, this so called BSA will be worth nothing in a couple of years.
