BSA LINCOLN JEFFERIES 06:11:2018

Short video on my BSA Lincoln Jefferies 1906 .177 Cal Air Rifle. Some semi-rested targets at 10 & 15 metres, and then some free standing at 10 metres. May only be around 4 Ft/Lb but shoots better than my eyesight. Enjoy.

You can still get new springs and washers these old timers. Remember they had a few drips of lubricant dropped in the tap so it can lube the washer in the chamber. Place the gun upright overnight so the oil gets to the washer.

Nice one, they are surprisingly accurate. I regularly ring our clubs 9mm bell target at 8 yards with my 1910 light pattern. New spring and leather piston washer would bring the power up but you seem to do well with it as it is. Cheers

I have the 1908 version in.177 with anew spring,leather washer OK. With Hobbies or Geco's it chronos at 8.5 ft/lbs, with excellent accuracy. Hope this is of use.

I love it ... always fancied getting one of those , but always decided not too take that " step " ... might change my mind next year ...itll go brilliantly with the other rifles on the wall ... amazingly accurate anawl , that's a bonus

I have the same rifle they are very accurate guns in the right hands you have the right hands. Mine although never chronoed has accounted for a number of rats with no problem at moderate range, Nice shooting great to see one being used.

I have a BSA L/Jeff and there is a mark on the rifle , it has a mark 4.5 LB and 14.25 (quarter) The serial number is S7060 . Is this a 1906 air rifle. im sure your a man in the know of these things Someone gave it to me as she was going to take it down the dump. ps:- your date there is my birthday. i did chrono it and wasnt alot. about 5LB i think. Use eley wasp pellets blue top 5.6mm or 4.6mm

Are they worth anything. I have a 1906 like the one in this video. It’s my sisters and she wants to sell it.

I've seen really good quality ones advertised for around £500. Lesser ones for around half that. They make nice ornaments, I have mine wall mounted under an large oil painting.
