I've own a Scorpion SE in 177 for over 7 years now and it's never failed me. It loves JSB exacts, exact Heavies, and Baracuda hunter extremes. Rabbits at 40 yards + don't stand a chance. Edit: my 177 does way more than 60 shots per fill.

Hands up who's a lefty and likes this vid great little rifle have the ultra and Scorpion thanks Racknload these are great me and my partner took away the trigger creep and they are so accurate in the wright persons hands thanks mate we love both models best budget rifles we have had we had a talk about the compatto once but these we do prefer much more and are sticking with BSA the our kids are familiar with them and can field strip really easy but have never had to just good to know what u need to do if something fails in the field but have never had any real issues we love them next stop goldstar the R10 is not on our list maybe the limited edition 150 years edition version if we can find one like our S10 centenary we collect but love these little midrange rifles are great

had one of these a couple of years back and sold it (for a rim fire) sod it I'm buying one again at the end of december kind of stop using air rifles for a bit when i got rim fires but since covid my gun club been shut since march and i really got back into air rifles for a bit of back Garden plinking . My GF got me kral NP 02 with hawk sight, bipod and a SAK mod for christmas and I'm definitely getting a scorpion end of december.

H&N pellets are the test pells bang on every shot these barrels love them

Nice review of a very nice rifle. What is the music in the beginning? The Scorpion SE is not exactly cheap but also not so expensive that you're afraid to use it in the field. The only real advantage the Scorpion seems to have over the shorter, lighter and less expensive Ultra is the greater number of shots per fill. All other things being equal the Scorpion has a slightly reduced muzzle report due to the longer barrel. There may be a point at which a PCP airgun barrel is too short but I don't think a longer barrel is inherently more accurate than a shorter barrel, I may be wrong. Some people can shoot very accurately with the Ultra so it doesn't seem to be at a disadvantage.

Great review. Shame about the moderator. Sounds like the threads of the barrel and mod weren't concentric and maybe the pellets were clipping it on the way out. Was the bolt fairly easy to cycle? A friend has one of these and his bolt is a nightmare to use it's so stiff.

I use h and n field target trophies with this gun in .22.i found the superdomes dont work very well at all.jsb exacts are pretty decent too

In mine crosman ultras work the best. 10shot groups indoors at 25m 1 1/2 pellet group size

hallo sir, i am from india. can you suggest me which one pcp rifle best for long range. bsa-10 mk2, bsa ultra se multishot air rifle, bsa scorpion se pcp air rifle, benjamin marauder air rifle wooden stock new version, benjamin maximus .177 pcp single shot bolt action rifle, walther tormnathor, walther rotex rm8, hatsan at44-10 qe air rifle, Walther ROTEX RM8 4,5 mm (.177), Walther Torminathor 4,5 mm (.177) because only these rifle available in india online.

What pellets do you think are best for this rifle, i'd be using .177 calibre, this would be my first air rifle and I am specfically using this rifle for target shooting not hunting and I was hoping you'd be able to tell me what the best Pellets would be to use as i've heard some pellets can affect the accuracy of the gun. I know you're using the RWS superdome .22 and I know that there are rws superdome .177 pellets available but I was wondering if you know of any better pellets or should i just go with the RWS superdome .177

drekceldude no all the gamo pcps urban/phox/coyote are the same as the bsa Buccaneer export model and made in different lengths
