for fibonacii(5) fibonacii(5) = fibonacci(3) + fibonacci(4) = [ fibonacci(1) + fibonacii(2) ] + [ fibonacii(2) + fibonacci(3) ] = [ 1 + 1 ] + [ 1 + [ fibonacii(1) + fibonacii(2) ] ] = [ 1 + 1 ] + [ 1 + [ 1 + 1 ] ] = 2 + [ 1 + 2 ] = 2 + 3 = 5 i have tried simplifying it . u can do it from 0, if u take 0 instead of 2 in base case..
