Off Track: The John Lund Special - Part 1

From the age of 5 in 1990 I went to most of the BriSCA Stock Car meetings at our local track in Brandon (Coventry Stadium) with my family and John Lund is an absolute legend in our book. I remember his gold car really well. We knew we'd had a great night of racing when it came to washing the shale out of our hair afterwards. As well as John, my other favourite driver at the time was Andy Hodgson in car 272.

Completely agree with John Lund about the old Hyde Rd , Belle Vue stadium. Went there nearly every week watching both Speedway and Stockcars. Best stadium and track there has ever been . Such a shame we lost it .
