Bungou to Alchemist, like BSD it uses real life authors as the characters, except the dynamics between them are more akin to how they were irl (for example, Dazai is the one who admires Akutagawa, not the other way around). Their literature is becoming corrupted, their aim is to fix that, so they've all been summoned to a place I believe is outside the time stream. My explanation isn't really the best, sorry, but I think you can watch it at anime update and check it out for yourself.

I mean, sure, he's dead, but they're together and happy, even with everyone else!
