I cannot tell you how happy I am that it was addressed that people should hold Akutugawa and/or Dazai to the same standard as the other. As much as their actions were BOTH caused by the people above them, they both did horrible things. I hate when people justify one and not the other. You can give REASONING for both, but you cannot excuse it. Thank you so much for bringing that up(especially through the characters and to Chuuya? Literally amazing.)

Thank goodness someone acknowledged both Dazai AND Akutagawa are victims of abuse but also abusers. I think it’s often over looked how Akutagawa abused her and Dazai was abused THEN goes on to abuse Akutagawa.

I’m completely aware and agree with the fact that Dazai has done terrible things. But I feel a lot of the time other people justify Akutagawa abusing and hitting other people BECAUSE of Dazai but Dazai isn’t afforded the same treatment. He’s the way he is largely because of what Mori did to him,

I'm so glad that you addressed Dazai like that, along with addressed the behaviour of Akutagawa , how he treated Higuchi and Kyouka. Dazai is aware of how he sees himself, and really doesn't care for help. The way you made them react is legit canon to me, instead of the way most creators make Dazai react, you actually made him react as of how he would canonly.

I've seen a handful of videos only blaming Dazai for the abuse even though he, just like Akutagawa, was a victim aswell 😭😭 If they can hold Dazai accountable for his actions, they should do that to Akutagawa as well. It's only fair tbh 😢💞

It says so much on how after defending akutagawa’s state, he doesn’t reprimand or continue after watching. That says so much? Finally someone that mentions Akutagawa's relationship with Kyouka and Higuchi! people only show Dazai's relationship with Akutagawa (and just skim over the abuse cycle) but never show the people Akutagawa hurt. God I've been ranting about this for some days like how in Akutagawa reaction videos people never mention the ones he abused and I think thats definitely something that should be brought up!
