While Ik he is no savior, Jesus Christ said that on the cross before he died, and then rose from the dead 3 days later on Easter Sunday. While yes, he probably just died mentioning Christ bc Dostoevsky is religious, his author being orthodox, if they do decide to keep him in then that's really the only and greatest piece of evidence there is. Though personally I kinda thought he was a boring rat- kinda sad they apparently took out a lot of his personality that he had in the manga- I may have appreciated him more. All in all I'd be open-minded to all possibilities, but roll with my 'motto;' "High hopes, low expectations." Don't expect him to be alive

@@seedy_avocato9824 Yeah actually, season 3, ep 3 or 4 he exploded Karma's head when he swiftly touched him. Season 3 finale he exploded the side of the officer's head, season 5 ep 10 he killed Sigma and overpowered Mr. Casino's ability with his own. It's the intricacies of how it works that has yet to be revealed. My guess? It judges one's soul crimes and then punishes them. "Oh- but what about the officer!?" We don't know the officer at all, literally, so hey maybe he used to be with the port mafia lmao. Plus "crimes" could mean offenses towards God, as we know Dostoevsky was religious, so in other words it could mean any sin somebody has. Essentially allowing him to kill anybody he touches. Although that last half was just a theory :D
