I just thought of something. In the bsd universe there are a lot of humans without ability,dazai's ability is called no longer human but as i said just because someone doesn't have an ability dosent make them non human .So i think he is actually refering to himself,like he turns into the book(non human) and since the book cannot be destroyed it inturn nullify the attackers ability.DAZAI ability is not nullify but to turn into the book😦

That’s the entire beast AU Dazai uses I think a page of the book to create a universe where Oda doesn’t die the problem is the book can’t totally overwrite reality and there still has to be a how it happened explanation for most things so to keep Oda alive he had to replace Mori to keep Oda from running to his death mori then leaves the port Mafia and I think that’s the background but that universe actually verifies two different book theories, the Dazai one since it’s believed Dazai used the book to do it meaning he has access to it and the Atsushi book theory since even in that AU Dazai meets Atsushi and keeps him close to him which fans have used as indication that Dazai has control of the book because he has control of Atsushi
