Probably for time. You could rewatch the episode and see if you could find a different scene to delete for this one, but I'm guessing you'd have a hard time with it.

I think her ability to inspire Adama was at the heart of the later seasons because together they were able to balance eachother out and continue onward but yeah they cut way too may good laura and laura/bill scenes.

I don't think so. I think it pretty demonstrates why Laura Roslin was such a great leader. I don't think it was campy at all...but it's only my opinion.

I see why this scene hit the cutting room floor. She did not stick-it to the gavity of the fleet's situation by dragging out her rah-rahs, she also didn't look people in the eyes long enough. "A Cylon torpedo could come through that bulkhead any time now, and put an end everyone of us in this audience hall."

Laura & Bill should not have been in the sack together, or atleast not very often and not openly. The senior ranking officer of fleet and the president in-exile bedding each other is a corruption. They could love each other, but they'd both have to take a different mate. For Roslin I would have written up a widower civil hydroponics director, off the stores freighter. For Bill I would have written up a sexy merchant yeoman that was visibly very close to a long ago unrequited love.

by the time I got to the end of the series I fast forwarded all Laura scenes! she just annoyed the crap out of me!
