SDG 2 - End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture.
SDG 2 aims to end hunger and malnutrition by ensuring universal access to safe, nutritious and sufficient food. To do so, agricultural productivity will need to be doubled through sustainable food production like genetic diversity of seeds, domesticated animals, combining traditional knowledge and modern soil preserving farming techniques. This should increase the income of small-scale food producers. Let us do our bit. From time to time, let’s buy from the ‘mandis’. Let’s not waste food. Let us get the vulnerable periodically checked for deficiencies. Let us do our Human Revolution. Let us make our Behaviour Sustainable.
