Beste wensen voor 2016! I think this is possibly one of my favourite routes, so many structures and so much variation and lots of signs to look out for, (ones I now understand!). Also, with a new favourite station - Amsterdam Sloterdijk. Love the architecture. I wonder what the rail connections looked like before the different levels were built?

+Joe90V I managed to record two and a half trips back and forth on a single day. I managed to distribute the videos evenly among the other videos in queue. The station Amsterdam Sloterdijk as it is now was created this way in the 80s. Before that Amsterdam Sloterdijk was actually just a small station with two platforms. The southern connection to Schiphol, that we cross in this video, wasn't added until 2008. I managed to dig some more information for you though. A video of the old station as it was in 1980: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5SzhGSqnrurY8k A Dutch website with some more pictures: www.nicospilt.com/index_Sloterdijk.htm

I was wondering if there were anotations in English? I've tried to find them, but I didn't notice any. I'm totally blind, and I love listening to these videos, and I use a screen reading technology called JAWS (Job Access With Speech, and I have access to the KZbin player features. It would be so nice if there were anotations to describe a little about the stations and a brief description of the scenery. I hope that's not asking too much. I used to live in France, so I rode the train a lot, and I miss it. Here in America, we just don't appreciate the need for public transportation, because we love our cars too much. It really makes it tough if you're a blind person and there's llittle or no public transportation. Who wants to wait for everybody else to be ready to take you where you want to go? Not me. Haha.

+Heather stubbs Hello Heather. The annotations that I use right now are pretty straightforward and there isn't much to translate. In the beginning of the video I use them to tell the time, train number and coach numbers of the train. In the rest of the video I use the annotations to announce the stations that we're stopping at. The station names are pretty uniform, most don't even have an English name. As for describing the station or scenery, I'm not sure how I'd implement that with the annotations. Would it be an option to enable user input for subtitles and closed captioning? I haven't tried using these but perhaps they might be better suited. I would prefer to keep the annotations usage to a minimum so they don't get in the way of the experience. I'd also have to put some thought into what I can describe and when. I'll have to ponder on it and see what I can do. I certainly understand the situation you face in the US. I've been to the US and was amazed at the car usage there.
