For all of those asking for when the bt-42 is coming it most likely is, but it is very unlikely it will be in the russian tech tree because gaijn has basically assigned finland as swedens sub tree

@@krisblunden1642 i think you are th8nking of the kv-1b which is a finnish kv-1e in the german tree, the closest thing to it in game is the bt-7 (f-32) which uses the same gun as the kv-1e

@@cuhgaming4943 it is a Finnish tank, based on a russian chassie with a british gun. the turret is a finnish production, so it can be either placed in the swedish, russian or british tree. (most likely not in the british tree, but there is still a posibillity)

The BT tanks were regarded as capable adversaries in the Invasion of Manchuria, to my knowledge. In particular, the Japanese noted that the Soviets had very good gunnery skills, with one commander commenting something to the effect of "as soon as you see the flash of the enemy tank will you notice a hole in your own tank".

BT's were the bane of rank I-III that they were feared sometimes because when you spot one you need to take it out quick or else they move away from your sight and precision aim you on your weakspots. They still are the bane of the 3 ranks especially Realistic Battles.

Meh, I see them a lot because they rush caps like the Pumas do for Germany, but you can easily kill them if you arent stupid: 50cals can also shred through them if you're playing USA

They aren't really at all the lose their edge quite quickly beyond 2.3 the gun really struggles with anything that has some armour and doesn't get apcr unless its the 7 m I'm not sure sure I haven't even touched it

@@duke0salt717 yeah well thing is post 7.3 you start to see lighter vehicles again lol, sure the bt series cant pen things like the Tiger (unless you shoot lower hull from the sides, 60mm armour) or struggle with things like the Jumbo (Panther is really easy both frontally & side) Thats when the tank becomes a killing machine again because most tanks dont have 70mm side armour & with your 3 second reload you can wreak absolute havoc on things like Bulldogs, Leopards, BMP (German line) etc. since most the late game heavy armoured stuff is in the Russian tree, its basically a god mode grinder if you dont like the Sturmpanzer II or Ho-Ro

Fun fact: the first ever bt was supposed to be used in the u.s army but they did not buy the tank so Christie guy sold his tank to the Soviets and since he couldn't afford to send tanks he made the tank into 2 pieces the Chasey being labeled as agriculture tractor and the turret being labeled as grapes

High speed: check Basic with large production run: check Small caliber cannon: check Small size with good road capability: check If one were to own a tank, a BT would probably be relatively cheap and easy to make road legal, though finding one to import might be hard. It's hard to deny that it would beat owning a classic car of the same time period though.

Gaijin, really liked the video, but I need to ask something off topic, would you be able to actually put in game the minimum amounts of bombs you need to hit bases with in the actual secondary armament screen without having to see the amount of tnt equivalent explosives in each bomb and after that dividing that number to the BR’s base HP, would help a lot

Ironically it's because of the bt series that the t34 was nearly not adopted. It's because of the bt series performance in Spain that a doctorine of light and cheap tanks was adopted by the USSR. The t34 was nearly rejected on its weight basis alone. Thankfully they still put it through trials and thank god they did because we all saw the performance of Russian light tanks during Barbarossa. Just another way that you likely owe your freedom to random luck and common sense.
