P.S.S. I'm excited to try the D-Brigade version because I'm a fan of the Digimon Next Manga where Chaosdramon is the leader of the D-Brigade. A weird Singaporean EX3 list last year that used it is what actually got me into Chaosdramon in the first place

Yesterday I played with Matt Ishida in my Machinedramon deck, AND surprisingly i've got first place. From 3 to 5 or even 6 Memory it's getting out of control 😂 Tnhx Avid!

Playing all the security plus effects is what got me top 32 at the pasadena regionals. Shredding theough security while sitting on analogman and chaosdramon x is actually so opressive. I remember hitting 5 checks and aothmd for game against royal knights with 2 seconds on the clock

That Matt is a really nice idea, though Tai giving +2K and a draw on redirects is also really nice.

Yep! Both def have their niches. Tai is going to be better in more defensively oriented lists while Matt is preferred in more offensive lists, one does more on the opp turn, the other on your own turn

a great video again comrade, it shows how much love you have for this deck, by the way I was going to tell you that I can boast that this year I went to the 3 biggest events in Mexico, 1 ultimate cup and 2 regionals, commanding my partner Aegisdramon, Last tournament I reached 98th, with results of 3-4, but demonstrating to many at the event the potential of the deck by going to game 3 in all the games. Now I'm preparing for the January event, the finals, and I'm looking at how to get the deck ready with the new BT14 stuff.

Thats awesome bro!! I haven't abandoned Aegis, but the hybrid engine definately didn't feel all that great 😅 I've been testing out the updates coming in BT15 and I REALLY love it, having 2 bodies that provide Jamming is such a huge boon. Also, still waiting on promo Seadramon 😭

@@AvidHerpetologist Yes, doing it with hybrid is very fast (I tried it in the July tournament) but it is quite fragile as it depends on the tamers. P.S. I agree with going in more with the security+ effects. this meta can definitely out your stack more easily than the previous metas with Angemon and all blue decks having selective source trashing and even de-digivolve effects. I'm pretty much using the same lineup of triple security+...maybe it'll be enough cope for me to finally add starter deck WarGrowlmon back? QUADRUPLE security+?

Honestly if you want another just go with the old Volcanomon or double up on one of the three already in there, my pick would he starter Metalgrey like i mentioned in the video! Yeah Machinedramon makes a great wall but a large portion of the meta will smash that wall given time. Gotta make sure you can end the game before they get the chance 👀

Why not running some Training options? I’m currently doing a 3 memory boost 2 training split. I think it’s working alright so far

Nothing wrong with them, theyre an option! I went with mem boosts because i feel like the deck just uses them to better effect. Checking 4 to find pieces is twice as good as checking 2, and gaining mem vs reducing cost can put me up into range to blitz in my level 6s

Definitely a preference thing in Machinedramon. Training can grab Analog and the Heavy Mobiles and bottom decks less pieces while Boost digs deeper and works with Blitz (and Mercury in this list). If you can fit both that's awesome.

You didn't mention HoverEspeemon's best quality. You can put that security card at the top or bottom of their stack. Against shine it is nice to possibly tuck a Marcus as the last card.

Training cards compared to Matt? Not particularly. A mem setter is vastly different than Training cards, but thats not to say the Trainings arent completely usable! I personally opt for Mem boosts instead just because consistancy is one of Machinedramon's biggest issues, and obviously checking 4 is twice as good as checking 2. Tamers and options might get bot-decked, sure, but the mem gain i also think is more valuable than reducing digivolution costs in Machinedramon specifically, just because it lets you get above 2 to blitz in your level 6s for game. I could absolutely see cutting a mem boost and Matt for a pair of Trainings and I may try it out at some point, but this list has been working well so far!

thoughts on the starter deck agumon and greymon? or does that take too much commitment

I was really excited to try them when they came out, played some games with both at a full 4 and... idk, they felt... lacking? I feel like they relied too much on my opponent's decision making to get their value, so the opp could play around them without much effort. If Machinedramon picks up a way to trigger them on BOTH turns i think they become significantly better.

I agree, and I felt the same way when trying it in BlackWarGreymon. Just sitting there waiting for my opponent to attack me first and I can’t swing because I have no DP boosts. I think it’s definitely only good in Raid decks.

@Hulavuta yep, sadly. Its great in regular Wargreymon where you have Raid AND blocker, but its too easy to play around if youre banking on just the opponent's turn. Id rather be more proactive with playmaking, hence the extra checks!
