The ideal use for the 3 color option relies on Taomon. Digivolve into the BT17 Taomon and use the option off its digivolve effect for 2 less, then after initiating the attack and alliances suspend 3 EX2 Rika in order to use 2 red plug-ins (giving you 2 more checks for a grand total of 5) and a green plug-in to digivolve Taomon into the ST19 Cendrillmon for free. Assuming it survives the 5 checks into security you then use overclock to finish the game.

Nah in a rapid deck. Everything pretty much has alliance already, slap 2 at lop down give one double alliance, Evo up to rapid with protection and then drop the option super big bonk breaking 5 at really big

This gallantmon is awful. It only gets DP and piercing if it doesn't delete and it only activates the effect one time on digivolve. Sure you can refund memory but it's a 4 cost which is way too expensive.

Do not use the Wargrowl Ace, he’s actually trash. At most you’ll delete 1 and gain 1 memory which won’t be stealing turn. Then ontop of that, when you have to use him for warps, you reward your opponent 3 memory for killing Gallant. Plus his ESS doesn’t matter because we could already reach any DP, 12K was hard, but BT17 Gallant + the new ESS help reach 12K easily.

I agree. I honestly don't believe in level 5 aces anyway. They blast digivolve on level 4s which are super easy to remove so you will hardly blast evo. They also are easy to remove if you hard drop them.

You can get piercing using "Aus Generics" from the Jesmon starter deck if you have a gallantmon out. Downside is that it only gives piercing if you have a royal knight (gallantmon) out, benefit is you get 2k dp as well, and you gain the cost (1 memory) back if you have a royal knight (gallantmon) out

​@forge5435 personal think gallantmon is underrated as a deck. It's got the best removal in the game and for how bricky decks can be it puts alot of pressure on opponents as it will nuke boards every turn.

@metascrub285 just by nature of being deletion based its not at all the strongest removal in the game You don't really pressure much early on either besides deleting things. If you live till late game its crimson or bust and with paladin modes running around in every green or blue deck then you could very well lose damage

Idea for trinity burst, use x antibody under the wargrowl and if you go into gallantmon x and it doesn’t delete a digimon it can unsuspend, with blitz takato you can then blitz for that potentially last swing

Did you know that BT 17 Dukemon can now reach deletion 15k when at 0 memory or less with the new ace inheritable? With the protection effect and that amount of threshold you can delete Mileniummon and Dorugoramon twice with On digi and On attack,and has protection so you dont get deleted at or less memory that is a very insanely good niche.

Honestly man, I give up on gallantmon after seeing this video. Like it’s basically just making “support” for collection purposes and not to be competitive enough. I’ve max rarity’d my gallant deck and it’s just pointless if it’ continues staying in the “2nd tier” list.

Why do people keep saying you still need Blitz Takato? I don't think you do. BT19 Takato says that when you digivolve, it gains raid and may attack, yeah? That's pseudo blitz right there. Honestly, I'm planning on running 3 & 3 of the BT19 and BT17 Takatos and not the other ones. Those two together have everyone the old ones for. Memory gain, a blitz style effect, matrix digivolution, and memory setting. Plus, the new Guilmon gains another memory at the start of turn. Unless I'm missing something, I really think the older Takatos just get outright replaced.

You might reduce the amount of EX2s you play, but it has some advantages like: - The mem gains which sometimes allows you to keep turn after warping with Bt17 end of turn - The fact that bt19 doesnt let you attack or raid into suspended Digimon - Or the fact that Bt19 is a 1 and done effect, because he has to suspend to activate. If you somehow keep turn after attacking (Like through the new Gallantmon) you cant "blitz" with another stack - also the fact that EX2 is cheaper than Bt19, yes Ex3 WarGrowl and bt19 Growl can cheat them out, but sometime you just have to hard drop a takato I for one will probably reduce the amount of ex2 I play, but I dont think I'll cut them completly

There are 2 reason, well the "pseudo blitz" is better than the actual blitz, but there is something that makes the ex2 Takato unchangable. Other than the memory gain, which is pretty nice, ex2 Takato does not need to suspend in order to use blitz, while the new one must suspend. I see both having play in bt19

@@SavageCrate I assume you say all this with a mostly red deck in mind? I play Gallantmon mill, and a lot of that stuff isn't really an issue save for point 3 sometimes, but even then, it's not uncommon for me to have 3-4 tamers out because I play 4 copies of the Wargrowl lol

@@cthulhuscat442 Yeah, I was talking about the "original" red version. Not much experience with the mill version, so I cant argue with you there. But I still believe the "standart" gallantmon lists will stick with at least a few ex2
