It made me realize that even if don't know each other, live in different parts of the world, have different lives, are of different ages, backgrounds, have different music tastes, came to know about BTS at different times, we have 1 thing in common. I know absolutely how you feel.. I love to .. well, not talk to anyone. I find comfort in that somehow too, but I just begin to feel the pressure after I start to think how people think of me as and such if I don't reply for too long. I could go a month without texting if I could. I don't know why it's this way and if it is normal to like not talking to anyone for a period of time, but I really find comfort in giving time to myself and myself only to do anything I want without anyone..

Ever since BTS entered my life when I was 15, they changed everything for me. I am now 18 yrs old and hold them much deeper in my heart more than ever. Unfortunately, I don't think my parents truly understand how valuable these boys are to ARMY. To me. They saved my life and have taught me "I have reasons I should love myself". My father says that this is a phase and that as I get older, I will start to fade away from BTS like a child fades away from playing with toys. But these boys and ARMY are the world to me, they have been there for me in their songs when I cried. Although I am getting older, I will continue to be a very devoted ARMY who is still surviving. My friend has liked them for a while now and I was quite rude about them at the start for no reason, I was just arrogant. It was because they are just different and I didn’t even know anything about them so who was I to judge. But early August I actually spent some time learning about them and how they make people happy and I have been ARMY ever since! I really do love these boys and I love ARMY too. My family makes fun of me for it but they don’t know how much BTS have helped me. I’m starting to be happy. "just speak yourself" I was bullied since 1st geade because of my weight. So i starved myself to get skinny and pretty. Sometimes the day pass and i did'nt eat anything. Now i am in 7th grade and still get it. My parents force me to study so hard and that make me stress and have a panik attack. I remember being in the 5th grade hallway listening to 2 friends singing fake love. It was very famous in my country so i searched it. I listened to fake love, spring day, don't leave and best of me. I told my mom about BTS and she searched about them to make sure i watch the right people. She liked them, i started wearing there merchs not just cuz i love them but cuz it makes me feel that i'm not alone especially my bts braclet that i put it on when i have an exam. In 2019 where bts posted love myself i standed up and fought back for all the hate i got. Even tho i still get bullied but i know how to fight back. But now all my classmates laugh and diguste on me becuz i wore there merch. I feel proud when i wear sometjing related to them. Whenever i am stressed i listen to this or koya's sleep music cause it makes me feel safe and i know am not alone with ARMY and BTS and... NOW I AM REALLY *FINE*

I can't wait to live in my own place, have my own room to sleep in, and just play this as I fall asleep incase I have a bad day. I am very grateful to be part of the ARMY. Some time ago, my story was like that of chimmy, I had no friends to be with, I had enough problems with self-esteem and in my house too. Two years ago, I used to listen to this song to stop myself from crying. I would cry every single day without any reason. I felt so hopeless, so miserable, so unworthy, so alone. Nothing in life felt worth living for. And yet, the people here talking about their experiences and the thousands of beacons of hope pushing each other to keep holding on kept me going. Here I am now, happier, much more content and without any regrets of who I was. Ever since around last year I've grown out of this fandom. I joined ARMY during the summer of 2018. Best decision ever to be honest. My BTS phase changed me in so many ways I cannot describe. I really want to see them. I really do. I never really had a bad life and also never any mental health issues, but there is something about them, that was always missing in my life. My family and my friends are the loveliest people ever, but still. Bts gave me this feeling of peace and love that I've never experienced in my life. I live abroad and haven’t seen my mom for a year now due to Covid. I have been ok being alone since I’ve lived away from home for 18 years but recently, I miss my mom so intently. I shed tears just at the thought of her. Sometimes I lie on my yoga mat and just try to feel mom’s presence. I feel so vulnerable without her. It's been a while since ive listened to this.... The way it brings ARMY together. We really are there for each other. All the kind words that are written and said, to what might seem like strangers, but are actually one family. I'm so proud of BTS, but I'm also proud of you ARMY. We've come so far, even through all the tough days, we held each other and kept one another in our embrace, and sung beautiful and meaningful songs hand in hand. When I got to this fandom I always thought it's going to be one time thing, that after some months I get over it. But now, maybe it's doesn't seems so long, I listening to BTS for one year and if I can say my bigest fear is that I forget this. This beautiful people called ARMYs. That beautiful thing they learned me, thing called love, self love. Love for each other and yes, even you, the person that maybe be reading this comment. I'm constantly hearing time and time again, how "all ARMIES are toxic". Yet, we've come so far to prove that stereotype wrong. ARMIES are telling their stories and supporting each other. If someone ever comes up to you and tells you how toxic ARMIES are, always remember; Sasaengs and malicious fans are not ARMIES, they are just the people who have been defining us. I'm currently in my first year of university, and it hasn't been easy. Every day is a struggle; getting up to do classes, doing my work, being so far away from home. But I know that I can do this. Any army out there who are struggling as well, keep going! We'll work through this together, with bts cheering us on the entire time
