BT50/Ranger Plazmaman Intercooler Dyno Comparison

A back to back test of the Plazmaman intercooler core and piping kit to suit the BT50/Ranger 2012+. This test was done with no ECU tuning, and the only other modification the vehicle had was a muffler delete. Although the power gains were only small, air intake temps are more stable whilst towing, and the headroom is there to make more power once a tune has been done.

Excellent comparison. I just bought a 2016 Ranger in Thailand. After seeing this I'm definitely going to upgrade the intercooler.

Wanting help through replacing coolant in a 2015 px ford ranger and videos available for this . Can 50/50 coolant at the right spec be used for the entire job

Is the test with a tune or standalone just swap out intercooler and Dyno run??

it clearly states in the video it's swapping the old intercooler for the new one with no tuning involved at all.

Just a muffler delete, the DPF is still in place.
