I thought the nails had to be clear so the lamp can cure the gel? Apparently not! But did you have to add extra cure time?

None of the glues I tried keep my nails on…once I wash dishes, shower or take a bath they pop off, even days later…..is there a water proof glue?

Are the gel tips made from a different material than the regular kind of glue on nails you get from the drug store ? (I’m not sure what they’re made from)

Yep! They are made of gel so you can soak them off unlike plastic press ons, also press ons are glued with a type of ''super glue'' wherease gel is done with builder gel or similar product, in the long run if done properly, it's way healthier for the natural nails and also holds longer than press ons.

So you’re saying plastic press on nails adhere to hard gel cured in UV lamp? I have some plastic press ons, but can’t wear them cause glue from the box doesn’t work for me. 😢
