I did the same spot and used some crazy mix of Close, Strong, then first, and finally got it. Guess I could’ve used first 😂

I put it around that spot on my first attempt, however it didn't work. The margin seems to be quite tight

Yep, placement is extremely important (and annoying) on this one. You have to place the sub as far as possible to the right in the pond so it can still barely hit the lower track.

HINT: to help positioning the sub, try to align the tip at the top with the bridge, it's the best reference point i could find and it helped me wonders (just align it horizontaly perfectly and then as downward as possible)

The best visual queue I found was to use the blades of grass near the left rock. The trick is to align the leftmost blade of grass with the sub radius so that when the wind blows to the left, the blade of grass is touching the circle of the base sub range. It still took me a couple of tries to get it right with this queue, but I've gotten it consistently 3 times already using this

The way to know if you got the placement right without having to wait for the leaking is to clear out the first wave or red bloons. If you do then youre probably good to go

This was fun, I do kinda wish there was some predictive aura that might show a bloons' current range and another circle for its maximum range. For a challenge though this was fun.

That wouldn't really work. There are just too many potential buffs to consider for that max. A tower's "maximum range" (given buffs) would probably reach about twice as far as you'd expect... and would be very inconvenient to set up. Stuff like a Monkey Temple (or God?) with support sacrifices, Alchemist, Geraldo's see invis potion, etc.

Never cared for placement challenges. You could technically get the solution right, but because you are off by mere pixels you don't get it.

Don't worry, this one was absolutely micro placement all the way. And possibly a bit RNG (randomness). Took me several tries to get it. Wouldn't be surprised if it took Ethan more than one try... 😅
