The Most Disappointing Hero in BTD6

Today we talk about the most underwhelming hero to ever be released in BTD6, aka Rosalia. However, there are ways that she can be improved, but I hope Ninja Kiwi will take action soon.

The reason for Rosalia being so disliked is in my opinion mainly two factors. 1. The past few characters have been extremely powerful and had a high skill ceiling which Rosalia coudn't match. 2. She doesn't lean hard enough into buffing aces and heli pilots. If you plan on having druids as your main defence then you probably will bring Obyn, if your main defence will be cannons or mortars then you bring striker Jones, but Rosalia doesn't provide a significant enough buff to helis and aces to bring her over others. The whole discount on anti-bloon is a little baffling to me even. It coukd be that Ninja Kiwi were just afraid of releasing an overpowered character, but i hope that they fix that now that they heard the feedback.

You're telling me we need her level 10 ability or whatever it is that lets her fly around and use both weapons just to do what an Apache dartship does by default?! yeah no, I'll stick to Etienne for my flyboy squadron of aerial superiority thanks. honestly just make her get a permanent pursuit ability, her weapons are not that overpowered, for crying out loud her lasers can't pop lead or purples and her grenades can't pop blacks or zebras, what kind of "hero" loses to 4 bloons types unless you micro? I'm building an army not a one monkey show. my personal opinion on how to fix her? give her at like level 15 or higher she gets to use both weapons permanently but can't be charged, her flight ability to use both weapons now lets them be charged while active and she attacks faster, and she gives Aces and Pilots a lets say 20% discount at max rank and like +4 damage, its a level 20 hero for two towers, we can get a bit ridiculous folks, look at Geraldo and Corvus for freak sake.

As someone who has her as my favorite out of all the heroes, it hurts 😭 I think she's really fun to play but even I agree that although her capabilities are good on paper, they fall flat on either being too underwhelming (Aircraft Efficiency discounts), too late (Guardian Automoton) or the wrong buff (Flying speed for Heli's and Aces), not to mention not having any QoL on her flying in general Her first balance change was a BUFF in 43.1 where they removed her jump and land animarion after level 7 to make her fly faster, but it isn't enough Praying for my orange girl 🙏

I honestly feel you. She looks really good but Striker and Obyn give plenty of buffs to their designated units, hell Striker even counters his biggest weakness over time and Obyn makes druids op as hell with like half his levels being buffs to druids. if Rosalia is going to have an out of place boost for a random tower, give it to the ENGINEER SHE IS A TINKERER/ENGINEER AFTER ALL! and make the discount scale over time, most of the Aces are not truly that expensive out of flying fortress, and the Helis are a bit more costly but you could easily slap 20% discount prices on them and they'd still be expensive to buy and a commitment to them. Why not give her a pursuit option? Her jetpack is on infinite fuel it seems, and to make it even better you can do an Etienne move and make it so that unless her ability is active she can't use both weapons to make it balanced, and give her missile ability double damage to moabs as a reference to the Fighter Ace Missiles being meant for moab destruction. congrats she is now like 10x better but still won't win you the game cause she's a hybrid hero and they aren't meant to.

I think the range is low to force people to use the jetpack movement, which doesnt have to be a bad thing but here it kinda just doesnt work with the mediocore damage, and lack of a real reason to move her otherwise, as most of the time, its just a direct downside to move her regardless.

Rosalina seems like she does everything, having discounts, buffing and early game potential but it's kinda irrelevant that she does this because of how little the buffs and discounts sound. Maybe she could modify aces at a level past 10 to let them slow down when near bloons and speed up when they are farther away or something

I love Rosalia as a character and like her concept as a hero. But she really falls flat. Like her level 7 for example, all aricrafts fly faster by 30% sounds good on paper,but only works with Heli cause afaik, the extra fly speed doesn't benefit Ace at all if not mistaken. And her lvl 6 5% discount of Ace and heli is...weak as hell, doesnt really make a dent in the price. I like her lvl 20 concept and i think that should be expanded changed a bit as well. Example make her buff machine like towers instead of just heli and ace. Example instead of faster flying, faster firing for middle path bomb shooter,sub,super monkey, and base heli and ace and all their upgrades.

Rework idea: Lvl 1 Laser Damage 3 -> 4 Lvl 2 Bomb(doesnt matter) Scatter Missiles(its like a last resort button so nothing changing either) Lvl 5 Discount increased from %5 to %15 Lvl 7(removed flight path buff,now buffs damage by 5,attack speed increased by %5 and pierce by 10) Lvl 10 Ability now spawns 2 bombs Lvl 13 charged laser now one shots ceramics and gives the Glaive Lord bloon bleed and charged bombs are able to one-shot MOAB's Lvl 20 now makes Lvl 7 permanent and using the ability now buffs damage by 10,attack speed by %10 and pierce by 20 to ALL monkeys(lvl 7 only buffs aces and helis)

Changing weapons and rearranging are simply not necessary would they just make two weapons and shoot from them like “for every 10 layers by laser, 1 bomb shot" And the permutation could simply be replaced by something like follows for touching, but at level 7 the chase was activated like 2-0-0 heli and then it would have been better In 000 heli mode there is more damage and all statistics, in 200 heli mode the pursuit of everyone across the entire map also buffs for helis and aces every new level would be useful (Google translate used)

Chom Chom is literally one of the best players in BTD6, and even he thinks her supporting can be better Her having sub par supporting isn't something you can fix by just "being better at the game". The only thing you can get better at is her abilities which are fine but not good enough to make her worth running and microing which isn't worth it because of her sub par damage. Just because no walls can stop her doesn't mean she can deal any damage to make that worthwhile, and that's also an ability you have to unlock at level 7 Also, quincy isn't the worst hero in the game (that would either go to pat fusty, churchill, or maybe etienne although UCAV is really good) and I never said that rosalia was the worst hero in the game when it comes to viablity (she's only F tier on my tier list because I love to bully her for some reason). When I say "she's the worst character btd6 has gotten", I mean that she's had the worst release out of any heroes.

I feel like Rosalia at lvl 5 should provide a 5 % discount to ace and pilots, lvl 10 should that she can upgrade all helis and aces by 3% permanently, caps at 20 stacks, lvl 15 she should be able to to take over an heli or ace and it should fire Rosalias weapons at an insane rate, lvl 20 2 new abilities, 1: self destruct, deals massive damage to every thing on the map, can’t use jet pack for 2 rounds 2: ultra gadgeteer, provides every monkey with a small footprint a jetpack (not monkey sub), provides a life Shield that negates damage by 50%, flies around the map shooting Bloons leaves a trail of fire behind her(6 round cool-down). Hope this works!

I really like rosalia. For once they didn't release something gamebreakingly overpowered and instead a base hero that is fun to play and can be made adjustments upon in later updates, the balance will never be right the first try but I really would rather this than have it be overpowered upon release.

Shes just the right level of both micro-ing and just plop her down, that I hate her more than corvus or geraldo. With those 2, I KNOW what Im getting into and know to pay attention and manage resources and stuff. With rosalia, most of the time I just leave her in one area, swap weapons twice since the lazer is good early/late game and the nades are better mid game, and thats it. She's just not fun to work with. Then its like I COULD get her for cheaper airplanes and stuff... Or I could just put down villages I was gonna use anyways, and also have sauda destroy everything.

I actually liked the style of this video but overall I actually like using Rosalia quite a bit, her level 7 ability is great and she can be a really good support with the Moab push back which definitely helps on really bulky rounds like 98, she can also just ignore all obstacles and fly over the track which I can definitely see being extremely useful on certain maps

My view on this that while I think she could have been better I also think all the hate is because of how underwhelming she is compared to the other newest heroes I think people forget what it’s like to be a new player as someone who is restarting the game from scratch. Plus looking at her price she seems like a introductory hero for learning how to micromanage towers

I got Rosalia because no videos and stats were out when I got her I find her decent early game and if you do an unoptimized mid game but late game she is completely useless

it feels like a normal tower more than a hero.... like even sauda who has no special abilities has its place as the best starting hero in any gamemode if the map got no multi lanes. but for rosa she is really just an annoying hero that adds almost nothing
