12:10 I think it's also possible that Lych was healing from the Elite Defender, when you lose lives (even from the mini lych) it activates its faster attacking speed buff which is absorbable by lych. It also happens right as you lose lives so it makes sense to me at least

Paragons are almost only useful in boss battles and for bosses you usually need the whole track hitting them to whittle them down. Basically this thing is useless.

Ehh Paragons are also used in freeplay, since they're space efficient, but I doubt Tack would be used for even that. Plus it's pierce is so low, I honestly think it would die to Bloonarius insides, and would struggle to kill Breadbloon's rock bloons, Phayze being camo and jumping forward, Vortex... no, and Blasta meter filling fast plus the meteor that hits plus the rocks, Lych and Lych goes invisible at skulls obviously. It's just a failure

yeah, one thing it really needs is pierce, I know tack shooter usually doesnt feature much pierce on it, but this thing is a permanent maelstrom, maestrom has the highest pierce of every attack a tack shooter can throw out.

@@fusionwing4208 They should buff the pierce of the first ability by a bit. The problem is that at high tiers the ability almost has full uptime. I agree with Ninja Kiwi's idea of "not every paragon should have crazy high pierce"

@@Marc-o2g6b Honestly I don't think the tackagon would do too bad against Dreadbloon, and Blasta's meter takes a lot of time to charge, even with the tack paragon on top of it, so an ice monkey would solve the problem. Also, it has such a worst range that it really doesn't care about Blasta's rocks, since they are spawn around the boss and the paragon would basically be inside of the boss, inside the circle of rocks

@justenoughrandomness8989 Vortex is faster when he buffs himself, but go look at any video with ISAB fighting all elite bosses at once, Lych is noticibly in the lead (also Lych will constantly stay in the lead afterwards too, as Soul form is a massive speed boost and he won't move back either) Lych is the one boss where time matters

I'm pretty sure you're losing DPS if you spam the range ability when a boss is right on top of the tack. A lot of the damage comes from the tacks that explode from the blades, with increased range those blades explode further away and a lot of those tacks don't hit.

There still should be a bonus inferno ring effect that deals a lot of damage in it's own right. That has to be factored in as well cause it's normally more powerful than the basic tacks

@@DarkFrozenDepths Looking at the numbers, the tacks seem to do far more single-target damage. Each tack deals 10 (+20 to bosses), blades deal 20 (+30 to bosses), and the fire deals 250 (+250 to bosses) only once per second. With how fast it shoots out blades, I think using the ability when the boss is on top clearly loses DPS since the blades explode way further out. The fire is meant to help with huge clumps of bloons, not single targets. Ninja Kiwi even said as much.

You can fit two small towers on the leafs next to the center where you had your Super Britt. Not that it would have helped much. Seems like the tack paragon would have done better without the Sniper since it was delaying the ghost moabs and souls. I guess it's a matter of more damage vs more uptime.

Bloonarius has too many bloons and tack lacks pierce. Lych becomes immune to damage for a good amount of time counting all the skulls, and the tack's low range makes it so it's not that good against it. Vortex just stuns it all day every day. Phayze is camo. Blasta is just a meanie (at least the rocks don't really hurt it) Suprisingly enough, I think the tack paragon would do good against Dreadbloon!

He's not doing the current most optimal strat, so if that's what you want, there's plenty of vids on that by other ytbers. What ISAB did was just getting geraldo's Quincy-Action-figure as soon as possible, then spam 200 farms while spending as little on defense as possible. What he does next is already in the video... (Like I said, there's other methods that get you more money at r40 but ig they're slightly more annoying so he often prefers doing this if he's not tryharding)

This map in particular seems to be pretty deceptive on Tack Paragon.... Bloonarius already proves it's not a good map for the paragon cause most of what's spewed out is already past the triple loop... sometimes out of tack range. It's like this tower just can't win on this map....

tack isnt that good against bosses, for example the meteor damage at d1 is 50k to moabs, 50k to normal bosses and 100k to elite bosses for example engi has 30k to moabs, 70k to normal bosses and 140k to elite bosses with a turret at d1 its lacking a lot of bonus boss damage other paragons have funnily enough tack para is worse than maxbuffed iring / tz in lategame too
