If you ask me, take jungle bounty into your deck for temple even if you do not plan to use it or center your strategy around it. Its good for baiting out monkey removal cards usage. People are just so traumatized by how opressive it is, they will pull it ASAP.

Hey Isab. I have played a lot of card games and I have a piece of advice that may help you with deck building, especially since this game translates a lot to runeterra on that matter. A good rule of thumb is to run 3 copies if you want a card every game, especially in the opening hand, 2 copies if you want to find it reliably but are not in such a hurry and 1 copy for a non essential card that's more situational and that will get value regardless of how late you may draw it. To build good decks you should start by adding whatever tf you find interesting, then start cutting cards following these rules, then do additional tweaking if needed by choosing which synergies to keep and which to cut

@@SunbleachedAngel 40 is the standard deck size in most card games, and it needs to be that way to prevent constant draw out finishes. YuGiOh for example has 40 card deck minimum, some games in YuGiOh can end in a few turns, others can literally run a players deck dry and end that way. If they allowed reshuffling then smaller decks would make sense, but since a deck out is a possibility, larger decks are needed.

Honestly with sun temple it's funny how extreme the card is. If you can't counter it, it will shut down basically any push (except pinks, toxic bloons, multiple stunning gas bloons, and buddy bloon, though getting more other defences takes care of these easily), and for 18 gold+cheap sacrifices is still relatively better defensive value compared to other expensive cards, if it doesn't get countered. I don't understand why must the attack boost stack with expert negotiator as well but you could technically juggle the sun temple until it has 850 attack power from sacrifices with 3 expert negotiators each. That may be enough to one shot BAD bloons if they are ever introduced to the game!

The problem with sun temple is that it basically requires every non-Amelia deck to include at least one of the 2 real counter cards (shrink or expert negotiator), just on the off chance that you run into someone using sun temple. In the grand scheme of things the sun temple is pretty trash and will rarely be used because it only beats decks without those 2 cards, but for consistency everyone will forever be forced to include sun temple counters in every deck. Also it extra sucks for free-2-play players because expert negotiator and shrink are pricy to craft.

Eh, I'd argue you want 2x shrink in every non-aggro deck rn even without sun temple. It's now positive vs jungle bounty (which a lot of ppl are still running), and also removes all sorts of towers vs control, like supermonkeys and arcane masters, helping to setup lethal

Ah yes, the classic lesson everyone learns at the start of their card game journey: removal and theft effects always get better and more efficient the bigger the thing your opponent plays. If you spend 18 gold on 6 cards at 3 gold each, any single one of them is not a great target for removal or theft. But if you spend 18 gold on just the one card, then disabling it in some way is HUGELY efficient

Funily, the design of the temple reminds me of early Yugioh boss monsters, which required a ton of investiment for big numbers and zero protection which where easy to take out with any kind of effect Same issues on board, so much work to get out and so much counterplay,

Jungle's bounty healing is the same but now it costs 7 gold instead of 5, so shrink and bed time get more value (also it only has 1x15 damage now instead of 2x15, doesn't matter much). I'd say it's still broken if you can't counter every one of the three. Growth gas got its healing reduced from 20 to 10 which is a harsher nerf, but yes it's still way above average card when you can shoot your own and still has 2 bloons for 1 card.

Going from 2x15 to 1x15 is a way larger nerf than it seems, it cuts the damage in half meaning the Druid can’t chip at big bloons like it used to, so sending single big rushes (the Druid counter) is easier. It also doesn’t get double benefit from village or Gwen’s passive any more It’s still a good tower, but its definitely a lot more fair now.

Something i don't see anyone mentioned yet. I think a wolf is slighty more valuable than 20 shield, since one (1) wolf can repeatedly do 20 damage Given you're not about to place other towers or need the shield more

The shield is actually about equal to the wolf, because you don’t spend your bloontonium on it, so both will theoretically be 20 health saved per turn. The main reason you usually don’t get the wolf over the shield is because the shield is guaranteed every turn while the wolf can only do damage if the opponent has Bloons out. Getting the wolf also means that it will take longer for you to get the third ability.

The problem with temple is it’s only really good in control vs control matchups since aggro runs out of steam before you get a temple up…however, as you experienced first hand, control decks have a ton of removal Hell, try playing the temple into Amelia and see what happens lol

It’s really cool how all towers 6 gold or higher are just terrible because removal is so cheap. It is almost never worth it to ever use a good defense because every single person runs removal. Love how I can save up and play a necromancer because I like having fun and then I get unlucky and my opponent has 3 gold so I just wasted a tower. They need to hard nerf all removal. It’s not fun when you literally can’t play the strategy you want. Although they need to half the amount of healing of jungles bounty again like wtf were they thinking. It’s pretty much invulnerability for 7 gold

I'd highly consider bloon duplicator over quick ready. Bloon dupe uses the health AND ready time of the copied bloon, so it's possible to double up on a 200+hp blimp

They're different tools. Quick Ready turns a normal thing into an instakill. Bloon Dupe might turn something into an instakill, but it depends a lot more on the board. Also, Quick Ready is 6 cost when Bloon Dupe is 10

It's more a hand limit than card draw, since there's 2 and 3 draws, so maybe a searching mechanic could be implemented since the excavate mechanic(Pick X)is already in the game

The Temple sacrifice might be programed in a way where the game checks how many towers are on the users side and then multiply that times 25 and once it gets stolen by expert negotiator it simply doesn't check for the amount of towers on the field aigain, but what do I now.
