16:13 Unless they changed it from what I saw in some pre-release videos, you can start the cooldown early and carry it over into the next round, which means you can start the boss off with the ability already fired and the missiles coming down for a huge immediate burst of damage.

For the buff it gives Subs, I think it should be reworked this way: give a weaker but global buff when unsubmerged (like 4x, 5x damage), and a much more focus buff when submerged (like 10x, 15x damage) but only in range (and self cooldown reduction)

@@alt2137pl ability is utter shite, it's not good even if you 'know how to use it' straight up it has nearly similar damage if you dont use the ability at all, esp considering it's 2min cooldown and 15 seconds to actually attack make it pretty much highly irrelevant. it's never going to be useful against bosses, in freeplay or anywhere else.

I like Dreadbloon for Sub Paragon's first boss event since they have that submerge gimmick, although at this stage of the game you can either use it for slightly faster engi explosions or wizard paragon and honestly while I haven't done elite yet it REALLY didn't matter for the first one lol, Dreadbloon was toast. Or French Bread, rather. 9:51 Weird, they... didn't submerge. the monkey's supposed to go into the submarine

Final Strike is so laughably bad outside of being a more powerful Permaspike for ranked boss cheesing. It is actually hilarious Ninja Kiwi thought this ability was remotely balanced or impactful. Honestly the submerge seems really weak too. This entire Paragon feels relatively untested balance-wise, like they made sure it had no bugs, balanced the main attack, and left it at that. Quite disappointing, but Ninja Kiwi is amazing at fixing things and listening to the community so I'm sure it will be much better later. But in the meantime it's kind of sad.

I think the damage is solid if you account for the fallout, but the MASSIVE cooldown + the 15 seconds of waiting are what really hold it back. If you want to keep the 15 second thing, you gotta make the cooldown like a quarter of what it is rn

Don't you love towers that synergizes with itself. The submarine is a good example, top path provides camo detection and cooldown, Bottom path buffs all subs damage, leaving the middle path to being a spam of first strikes. beautiful

To be honest, this paragon should just be counted as being submerged at all times, while also having its ability buffed. The sub-paragon is amazing, but it has too many thinks fighting against it being competitive. Feels like the Wizard Paragon 2.0.

Final Strike feels genuinely useless as an ability. It has a ridiculously long cooldown, has a 15 long inactive period, and deals the same/less damage as the Ace Paragon's Carpet Bomb, which is faster and has no inactive period

I feel like the first buff to ability should be charge time decrease with degree. That way at least it will be DPS boost for high degree, and not a complete lockdown for 15 seconds.

i know some people are a bit mad at the fact that the sub paragon supports other subs, so it kinda incentivises you to get tier five subs, therfore ignoring the paragon of power monkey knowledge. What if they change it so the MK instead buffs paragons by 20% if no other tier fives of that tower are there, 15% if only one is on the field, 10% if two, and 5% if three.
