Craig's rant about no AC in Europe killed me, and he is absolutely right. I live in the south of Spain, where it's hot all year around (what constitutes as winter here is 12C for fuck sake), and still AC is missing in most establishments. Resourceful architecture and fucking fountains can only go so far, nevermind the medieval ages being far behind us. The other side of this coin is though, that we spaniards love to complain about there being too much AC when we visit the US. Dries our fackin' mediterranean throats out, and all our grandparents believe the frequent drastic changes in temperature will make us sick. Personally, I love to lie in my own sweat and filth, and that my gym is practically a steam room sporting an electric fan as its only means of 'ventilation.' But cam' on cant, ya gotta admit it's quaint. Part of the European charm. Also as a side note, can we get Jay Rod to reveal/create his reading list a la Lex Fridman? If he gets into poetry, I really do think getting him to recite some could make for some legendary content at B-Team. Or alternatively turn the Simple Man Podcast into a wonderful book club.
