I’ve seen people point out that this video isn’t exactly what spit painting is, but is heavily influenced by it. I wasn’t all to keen on the ‘proper’ way to do it (seemed a bit gross to me) so I took it my own way and direction but I just had no idea what else I could call this type of trigger. Hopefully you can still enjoy.

From what I've seen, Miss Manganese ASMR is probably the one who started the trend on spit painting. It started it out as just her making random triggers and her viewers really, really liked it when she licked her finger or hand and proceeded to wipe it at "us" and it was so widely requested that she made an entire video dedicated to it

If you must know the incredibly talented Miss Manganese was the very first creator of this trigger I remember even looking for this kind of trigger cause it was so tingly, but around that time only 2 videos were made. And it amazes me how it went from only 2 videos in the search engine to now thousands, she is the queen.

Honestly Kudos to you for taking a concept of asmr and applying your own interpretation so that it’s more comfortable for you. I don’t know why it was really hard for me to like the spit painting videos from any asmrtist but I really enjoyed this one. I liked how you made different sounds for everything! Like when you were “mixing the paint” or “pouring the paint” or even when you were “squeezing the paint out the tube.” I really hope you make another spit painting video. :)
