Dale, what do you think about the difference when you do BTG from a flying lap instead of starting accelerating from the gates? There's like a 100kmh difference in the speed under the bridge. Which is "more official" timewise, if there are any unwritten rules with the BTG times? Great driving!

It's mechanically identical. The Golf in an effort to maintain the 'Golf look' creates lift with it's body shell. You can remove the rear seats from the Cupra easily for track day purposes to bring the weight down. It's been marketing from the get go. Of course the Golf wears the crown. The Seat Leon SC & ST were both manual cars for the official times (look at the videos, even though a claim the SC was DSG, it wasn't). Stock Leons are going faster than 7:58 in the hands of private drivers than the official times.

Yep, as Antrim says. Note that the 'performance pack' brakes offered on the Cupra are NOT required... the Clubsport S has the normal brakes. My car above is also none-performance-pack. Just Endless pads and you can brake hard at race pace all day long. The brembos are just for show!

Probably Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2's as he has the sub 8 pack. The tyres were optional though. Otherwise it may be pilot super sports.

+Optimus Decline I learned this recently as well as to use with better results Laptimer on phone you need at least 5Hz GPS refresh. Iphone is only 1Hz. xgps 160 gives 10Hz. VBOX Sport gives 20Hz
