One thing I forgot to mention: in order to use the SD card for samples and loops you will need an SD card slot on your computer. You cannot use the USB to load samples. The USB connection is only for power and MIDI messages.

@@JVJF7 I was looking for an external sampler for DJ purposes, as the di controller I'm using "Denon Prime Go" doesn't have a built-in sampler, but I found a better solution which is an old cell phone that has 1/8 mini plug output. And there is a free Android app that has eight sample buttons just like all other DJ controllers. Easy as cake and tiny setup for flying on planes

does any one know if this could be used to trigger sample tracks between songs live. Look for something easy to trigger live , just need to play different ambient tracks between songs.

Hey I have a carlsbro electric kit with a bad audio output...the pads only send on notes 36 38 48 and 46.. I want to know if u buy this product will I be able to use my kit and assign midi note sends to the different pads/sounds from my kit😊

Yeah you can assign any MIDI note to each pad. You cannot change the MIDI channel...you must use channel 10, which is industry standard for drums.

@dodiangel88 it depends presumably on the file size. It's fast, but not instantaneous. It will only load samples used in the selected kit. If you change kits then it loads those samples.
