Rythm games are mostly Eyes/brain coordintion games. Train your vision, your hands will follow. 99% of the time, if you missed, your vision failed, not your hand. Of course wrist speed and precision matter, but aim mostly equals eyes. Tablet area, sensitivity for mouse, scrolling speed for osu!mania ... If your eyes/brain coodination is good enough, you get used to all that in no time. I went from mouse to tablet for the first time, my first 5 plays were basically equal to what i could do with mouse (7* maps). I was a 2 digits on Osu!Mania, and i can tell you, assuming your hands are fast enough, 99.9999% of your score is due to your eyes/brain.

well, at least on osu standard you need to have the ability to aim/tap it. Even if I can read smth like Everything Will Freeze HDDTHR, I most definitely can't tap 360bpm consistently and much less read/aim ar11. So I guess it's not for all rythm games.

I think you can get out of 5 stars when you have reasonably high accuracy 97+ and can fc 5.5* about 40% of the time. Also 40% is actually a fairly large percentage.

Remember that star rating is a lie. There is a reason why most maps that are played in tourneys are 6.5 stars or lower. Its because aim control/reading results in lower star rating than jump aim, although it is probably the more difficult skillset. If you play to increase the star rating, you will always play the easiest maps available and dont really learn the game. Painters of the Tempest has basically the same Star Rating as Black Rover and used to be 6stars, so do not use SR to measure yourself.
