Young offense, but the defense is what Huskers fans have wanted. Nasty. We recruit for a better offensive line and Hardberg keeps getting starts and let's see how this story goes.

If haarberg is our qb the next 3 years we are in deep trouble. He’s one of the worst statistical quarterbacks in the country with a 50% completion percentage. That’s not a qb you want on any level of football let alone the big 10. We’ve won 4 despite his play and that’s against some really bad and we will never See such a weak schedule like this again.

Omar Brown's run down on that play was perfection. He was significantly faster than the RB and timed his dive just right when it looked like he'd get at least another 10 yards.

Well hick we won. In the late 3rd and 4th quarters I feared the usual collapse as Northwestern was close but I'll be darned if we don't have a pretty good defense.

Need to improve on that O. If Haarberg doesn’t improve his throwing don’t see why Purdy can’t be given a shot. But other than that can’t complain, I know for a fact that even last year this would’ve ended in some inexplicable, embarrassing loss. Progress is the name of the game, the D has done so (outside the Michigan game), special teams (for the most part) has progressed, the O needs to catchup.

Maybe because purdy can't throw any better than either one of them. Or let's just continue to put quarterbacks out there that don't know how to throw. At the end of the day nobody on this roster can throw a football and that's just a fact. Which means we're going to have to outrun people. I tell you what will make it easier if 15 can continue to do what he did. Guys at burner and an absolute match of nightmare if you can't hit that wide open of receiver you need to be off the field number 10 did pretty decent deep ball

Frosty the Golden Boy was an overmatched and befuddled Head Coach. Seeing him on that sideline dazed and confused week in and week out gave me ulcers. 5 seasons and he never could win 6 games to become Bowl eligible. Rhule in his first season only needs to win 2 of their next 5 games to go “Bowling”. I wonder where all the Scott Frost jock sniffers have gone?

Well it was ugly. But it was a w. Can't say anything bad about our defense. I have been waiting for our blackshirts to show up. Another year to make the o line better. I was also shocked we didn't get a flag when haerberg was like a foot over the scrimmage line when he threw a pass. I won't complain though. A win is a win. GBR

Nebraska has a weak and pathetic offense. Too many dumb turnovers. Nebraska must be afraid of scoring 30 plus points and win by more than 21 points. Nebraska should play Indiana State or Akron or Nevada Wolfpack , even Northern Michigan. Maybe they will be easy wins.
