PSU is playing different since the Big Ten Chsmpionship!! I’m a huge ND fan, live in Mishawaka IN and this PSU team makes me nervous! Very short week, the PSU qb is very dangerous, the defense is sound!! They have a very very good(best tight end) in the country that can be a game changer!! Nothing is given at this level!! It’s hard to get kids to be consistent in anything let alone the biggest games they have ever played!! Anything can happen in this game… who is going to make the big plays, who is going to turn it over more!!! Two very good RBs. And my QB is a game manager but he may or may not kill you with his arm! Three great RBs and a QB that runs too!! Anything can happen and ND has a tendency recently to not show up in Miami Gardens… that game vs Alabama still haunts me!! Will be a great game, I can’t wait!!!!! Go Irish ☘️

Growing up in Eastern PA - you either supported Penn State or Notre Dame! Western PA went for Pitt and West Virginia. I love it I can't wait for the game!

This whole idea of this being a very short week is confusing me lol. It’s literally the same amount of time of every game all season. Why is Thursday to Thursday any different from Saturday to Saturday?

@@AlekBittinger yeah makes no sense. PSU would always have had 1 additional day. But 7 days between games has been the standard all year, so not sure what the big deal is.

I’m happy for Penn state and their fan base. But one thing I haven’t been feeling is. How they hype up Penn state wins vs smu and bosie. If it was notre dame they would say “who have they played?” I haven’t heard that once for Penn state. Also as an Irish fan I could see us dropping this one but just felt like Penn state getting a lot of love for losing then getting the best bath and getting praised for the teams they played.

@@ndn4203 PSU has been grinding thru playoff games, this is just the next step. Remember, we played Oregon in the B10 championship. It’s just a 1-0 mentality. You can knock SMU and Boise, but in the end .. that was the schedule, and both were top ten teams that were 12-1 or 11-2 coming in to our games.

Born in Joliet Illinois @joliet hospital... same city and hospital as Rudy. Naturally I'm a ND fan. I've never paid much attention to James Franklin because PSU really hasn't made any big waves in the post season. With that being said, he's a very well mannered and controlled coach with the militant type of demeanor. I like that. I can see why PSU has had the success they've had this year. I respect PSU and even moreso James Franklin. However, If ND shows up like they did against UGA, we will walk away with the W. If ND tones it down even the littlest bit, Franklin will take full advantage of it. PSU is a very well coached team but im very confident after leaving UGA in pieces. We didn't just beat UGA by a field goal in OT. And if we lose to PSU then we would not have faired well in the title game so it will be deserved.

No one’s “uncomfortable.” It’s just played out at this point and nobody cares. People want to pay their bills, feed their families, and see the Irish win a natty ☘️. Nobody needs a lecture at this point and identity politics are meant to divide. There’s nothing grassroots behind it. It’s the machine. It’s the establishment. And it’s about the division of the working class in the West. Long story short, it’s cultural Marxism and it takes far more courage and smarts to give the answer that Marcus Freeman gave.

I mean, is it cool to me, as a white guy who’s last name begins with “McC” that Christian McCaffrey is an elite running back in the NFL? I guess. If we’re ever going to move past the issues of the past at what point do we stop obsessing over skin color? I was thinking the same thing. Penn State has had bursts of success on offense but has struggled otherwise. Very similar to ND. I think this game like most gets won by the team who makes the least mistakes and who brings more violence on D.

@@leew9328 If your fellow fans can judge ND off NIU without acknowledging the rest of the season, the argument is allowed. ND faced USC and never trailed. It was tied 7-7 and 14-14 before they pulled ahead permanently. PSU escaped with their lives in OT. Purdue got smacked by everyone, but ND won by a larger margin, if you care about that one haha But if we throw out early season and focus on post season (after 12 regular season games) ND beat IU and UGA. PSU lost to Oregon, and beat SMU, and BSU. I’d say ND has the advantage on post season success, based on teams played and won against. If PSU won the BIG, then I’d give them the advantage.

So I’m trying to figure out the point. I won’t even bring up Kent State, Bowling Green, Purdue, or UCLA
