BTO Bird ID - Grey & Golden Plovers

Its cousin, Grey Plover, can be found around our coasts in most months of the year, causing a potential ID challenge. This ID workshop will help you to confidently separate the two species.

Very helpful video, thanks. We normally have 30 to 40 Golden Plover on a piece of poorly drained arable land on the farm. This year we have somewhere between 200 and 300 birds on the same area.
